How long does everyone see Oasis sticking around after the new album is released? This album will warrant a world tour, but after that, what do you think or hope they will do? I personally would like 1 more album, before they all turn 50, and then thats it, none of this Rolling Stones 'we're going to tour until we all die' buisiness, can you imagine Liam attempting to sing when he's 60? It would just be sad, lets hope that they are smart enough to know when they're done.

But realistically speaking, I see Noel holding on forever! I think he'll start doing a lot more of those acoustic shows.

They earn a lot of money here in UK when they play stadiums and Oasis generally chart at No1 in the UK as well. So that's something they will probably want to keep. Unless sales drop and the venues get smaller they will probably just keep on rolling.
I personally wouldn't mind if Noel went solo and if Liam set up a new band that played small venues.

I was hoping you were gonna say that after the album came out we should ask the mods to ban the members that gave false information on this very forum....I was disappointed to say the least

They're still young No reason to stop anytime soon I'm not a fan of Noel going solo but I'd like to see them doing side projects Liam could be in a superband doing some very rocky songs ;D

I reckon they have a couple/few more albums left after this one.
I am a HUGE fan of Noel Gallagher going solo and I see his longer-term future as solo work, small, intimate tours and helping up and coming bands.

they won't stop anytime soon... Noel loves touring too much no matter what he says.. I think that they will cut down touring a bit as they get older... Noel will still be writing great tunes (in my mind) as he gets older... Liam its just his voice but it is not as bad as people say (early gigs were great along with acoustic stuff)

I don't see Noel stopping writing songs, meaning Liam will always have something to sing, and i don't think either of them will want to turn down the money of the album sales, the Oasis fan base is too big to just die down, people will always want to hear Oasis. Plus with Gem and Andy writing songs too, i don't see how they can stop!!
