I know webby locked your thread, but I wanted to show you what a bunch of us fans put together for Noel's 40th birthday  I put together the Noel Gallagher Birthday scrapbook... about 50 to 60 fans sent me paragraphs, photos, poems, drawings about how much Noel and Oasis meant to them. Click on the link if you would like to see the whole thing.  It cost me to $25 to mail it to his house and I never got anything back, not that I expected it. People do do things, don't worry about it. Webby feel free to lock away  |

I'm sure he appreciated it. But if ever asked about it, he would play it down to try and look cool.
I dont care that people hated the idea. It's just beyond immature to lock a thread because you simply disagree. Yet, ironically, it's ok for the forum to get flooded with fake stories about the new album. Doesn't make any sense.
Some people on here need to grow up.

I did lock it and for the second time it wasn't locked because I didn't like the idea or because it was a live4evr's thread!!!
That would be a hell lot of threads!
It was just getting nasty and leading nowhere
I seriously think that some of you should learn not to ALWAYS question what's going on in this place
If Webby wants it back he can unlock it easily, he's the boss

Webby feel free to lock away i think that's cool, Jenny  I am sure that Noel would have appreciated it and, unlike someone else's post stated, he wouldn't have thrown it in the bucket. In the other thread, people went on about how Noel doesn't care about fans and mentioned a quote from an interview he gave to demonstrate this. Well, he has made lots of comments stating how grateful he is towards fans, how he appreciates them hugely etc and the quote referred to was said in a jokey manner (he went on to say about being happy to sign an album cover, as they could then sell it on ebay and would have to buy a new one). There probably isn't a "star" who cares about their fans more than Noel Gallagher does. |
