OCS would be awsome, what about Stereophonics, they pulled out last time and Kasabian had to fill in didn't they? I think phonics in their own right are much better than a support band for a full tour but it IS Oasis we're on about, they get on well too

I hope the Stereophonics!! I believe they were supposed to be there when I saw Oasis in Atlanta but they pulled out early in the tour! I was bummed out.
I doubt I'll ever get to see Oasis again. But if the Phonics were with them, I'd travel anywhere within the States to go see them.

Wow, Any of those choices would be terrific. Though it seems a little lofty to expect the likes of The Verve or Ian Brown as consistent opening acts since their potential draw is so prodigious. It's plausible that one of these two acts could share the stage with Oasis at one of those mammoth open-air shows, such as Knebworth, Maine Road or Wembley. The Stereophonics would fit well touring with Oasis, especially in North America.

I want to see The Verve on their own gig, not as the support band for Oasis, same for Ian Brown. I've seen The Enemy last month and I like their attitude. I hope Moke will supporting Oasis in Holland. the Partridge Family (reunited) but only if Mr. Nadal can arrange it for us I didn't know that they're reunited webby!!

the Partridge Family (reunited) but only if Mr. Nadal can arrange it for us Are you questioning the great Mr. Nadal? Of course he can make it happen...did you know he is in Oasis? I heard a rumor that they axed Noel and hired Nadal in his place because he has more sources than Noel.

How about THE REDWALLS again?
They have their own new album that just came out a couple of months ago. And share the same love for The Beatles. They have alot of soul, classic rock hooks, kinda a cross between The Rolling Stones, Dylan, and The Beatles.

I'd like to see them with someone who hasn't opened for them before instead of someone who has. (Exception to that would be Kasabian..)

I would say jet, but I can't recall if they have a new album out in the near future. It would be unlikey that they would do any extensive touring when they really need to focus on a new album.

i don't know if jet is currently making a new album but they were not touring an album when they toured with Oasis. They just played with them cos it was like 2 years after Get Born And Shine On came out late 2006. I really don't care i just hope the bands are solid. Of course The Verve And Ian Brown would be awesome but i doubt that would be able to happen

I remember reading about them on here and I bought their album. It's ok. It's funny you mention them though because I was on my way to school and saw some flyers for them playing in some bar around here (New Orleans). It was at some small bar. I was like, "WOW! They played with Oasis!" But I think Oasis could get better . . .

Noel's a bit of a fan. someone already quoted them in another thread as saying they'd never open for them again after doing so in England. Besides, BRMC is a headlining act on their own. They don't need to open for Oasis over here (although i agree, it would be cool but highly highly unlikely to ever happen )

I think they might've gotten bottled or something. I can only imagine how intimidating English crowds must be after hearing stories of cups (or bottles) of piss being chucked around before, during, and after concerts over there.
