It's important, it's legendary, but nowhere NEAR "the most important/legendary Oasis gig ever", which is what was said before. the most important/legendary Oasis gig ever is Knebworth 96, yeah? One of them, yeah. Zanzibar comes quite far down the list for me.

Zanzibar comes quite far down the list for me. you've got a point, but from a bootlegging point of view, it is one of, if not the most legendary gig, simply because the song that everyone is talking about was played, yet no recording exists

Zanzibar comes quite far down the list for me. you've got a point, but from a bootlegging point of view, it is one of, if not the most legendary gig, simply because the song that everyone is talking about was played, yet no recording exists yeah, its the most talked about unreleased song. that said, the first time Noel went to see Oasis play, Noel's first gig for Oasis, Maine Road, the first US gig, Knebworth, Noel's first ever solo gig, the first gig Noel took over vocals due to Liam not being able to sing, the first time Noel did an acoustic set in the gig, Noel's first semi-acoustic solo gig, first Glasto performance, the first time Noel played DLBIA live etc etc are all way more important and legendary to me (amongst many others, as well).

The most important Oasis gig was at King Tuts' Wah-Wah Hut, where they were signed. The most legendary Oasis gig was Knebworth.
