If you are anything like me, you are more than likely extremely excited about the upcoming Oasis album, as you should be. Additionally, if you are a member of this- or any other Oasis fan forum- you know that there's always rumors surrounding their upcoming releases. There's always a handful of people claiming they or someone they know have inside information, such as the titles of the tracks, or how many are on the record, or even that they have heard the album in its entirety.
Now, I understand that most of these claims are complete bollocks, yet,aren't they so damn interesting? This is the collective, dual-action dilemma that all of us members have to comprehend: We all know that most of these claims were probably prompted by some 12 year old, acne-faced kid with a computer and a lot of free time, but don't we want to believe?
My thought is that the anticipation for each new Oasis album would not be as intense without the inclusion of this phenomena. Therefore, we should all celebrate by contributing.
I challenge each and every one of you to be that 12-year old, pimple-infested kid with no life. From this day forward every single one of us has secret, "inside information" concerning the new album and we shall share. Whoever produces the most believable and/or most outrageous "inside information" wins the Live4ever Medal of Bollocks ( or whatever name you wish to call it)

I totally agree with rumors and claims sending hype sky high, but wouldn't everyone intentionally doing it kind of make every post such bollocks that people wont bother reading them? I dunno, it's worth a try, for the fun of it, we could out BS the little lie spreading nerds and ruin their free time lol

Noel read the letter ironically and said in the end (something like that): "i guess this guy doesn't have better things to do". |

You can't take Oasis' reaction from that.... that guy was nuts.....anyways oasis are good to their fans they like to hide it though  anyways I think buying there records and going to gigs will suffice. now for my rumor the new album will feature the first Gallagher and Gallagher wrote song, written on a ski holiday while sipping hot chocolate...  |

My source also informed me that the orchestra on "I Wanna Live in A Dream In My Record Machine" was actually a 99-piece orchestra - not the 100-piece orchestra that noel gallagher advertised. It was originally supposed to be a 100-piece orchestra but the 5th chair flugelhorn player called out sick with the runs during the recordings. It's a shame really, now we will always have to wonder how much better the song would've been had that 5th chair flugelhornist been healthy.
