When Oasis do a proper greatest hits when they call it a day, what the fuck are they gonna do? lol
There's about 4-5 quality songs per album which deserve to be on it, plus a shit load of bsides
You're looking at 35+ quality quality songs that merit a place on it. And that, of course, is way too many

They can do some anthology or whatever like some bands do and release a condensed one CD version shortly after.

Of course there will be one when they're through, anyone thinking otherwise is foolish.
30 years from now there will likely be 5 or 6 of them.

I wouldn't mind a box set. Something special with about 5 cd's and maybe a live cd.
I have a few box sets at home from various artists and they are well worth owning.
Not cheap though.......

If Noel picks them he'll probably just do what he did for STC, "There were loads of songs that should have been on there but there wasn't enough room."

If Noel picks them he'll probably just do what he did for STC, "There were loads of songs that should have been on there but there wasn't enough room." Only difference is some of those songs weren't "hits" so to speak. I mean Half the World Away, Talk Tonight, Slide Away and Acquiesce weren't even singles. STC was more of Noel picking his favorite Oasis songs than them putting their most successful songs/singles on an album (which is what a greatest hits album usually is)
