Wow I'm the only one who bought SOTSOG first?? i remember the year 2000, when there was some clips on MTV saying "Oasis are back" while featuring the clip for Go let It Out.... I watched and I tought, man those guys looks cool... So I heard Who feels love, gas Panic, and decided to buy... a few weeks later MTV made an Oasis special and i saw D'You Know What I mean? and Acquiesce, and that's the exact moment where Oasis caught me as a huge fan... So, here's my order...
1- SOTSOG 2- Be here Now 3- The Masterplan 4- WTSMG? 5-DM 6-FM 7-HC 8-DBTT
You can see that I started to like Oasis when SOTSOG was release but by the time FM hit the stores I already had all of other cds! I'll tell you, those were good times...

I bought WTSMG in August of 96. My guitar teacher had just taught me DLBIA and thought it was great. As I was headed to the store I saw signs posted for their Jones Beach gigs. Sadly, I was going to be on vacation for that. Even though they'd been big in the UK for 3 years, I was really getting into them at the height of the American success. Over the next month or two I saw the MTV Unplugged and VMA appearance and started picking up the singles. After that, I just bought every single, bootleg and album (import or otherwise) I could find. This was back before CD burners and broadband internet were the norm so I thought nothing of buying a CD-R copy of Not Much Cop for $38 at my local CD Warehouse. Somewhere along the way I started running the websites Up in the Sky and then Oasisnews.com and discovered alt.music.oasis. Thank goodness for Al Gore and the internets!! They were a heady few years....
