Discovered them at 15 in late 97 or early 98 and bought 1st Be Here Now 2nd What's The Story Morning Glory 3rd Definitely Maybe
then bought each of the rest as soon as they came out. I was totally disappointed with Definitely Maybe at first because it didn't have the big overblown sound as the other two did, but then it started to click in by itself that I'd actually bought this great album.

1st (What's the Story)Morning Glory 2nd Familiar To Millions (red) 3rd Don't Believe The Truth 4th Definitely Maybe 5th Be Here Now 6th Heathen Chemistry 7th Standing On The Shoulders of Giants Forgot where The Masterplan falls into there, somewhere in between Def Maybe and Be Here Now maybe, but I'm not to sure. I am one of the ones that started listening to Oasis recently, I was really blown away when I heard DBTT. Back then I was listening to shit American mainstream stuff pop rock and all that and I was amazed how every tune on the album wa just so good. Oasis blew the doors open for me.

i gotta confess ive bought just one oasis album, and it was DBTT in summer of 2005, but it was not the first oasis album i got into. i think it was first Morning Glory in around late 2002 (i guess i borrowed it from library cause it included DLBIA) i always had dug their most known hits from the mid 90s. At first the album as a whole didnt catch my attention, but it grew on me slowly somewhat. Then next year BHN (library) - i remember listening it more than WTSMG at that time. Then i just had all these oasis tracks from net that i used to listen to a lot - songs from HC (remember it leaked on net). I read about oasis from internet (i used to read a lot interviews - they were so much fun), and got more hooked up to oasis world. Then DM. It had some good songs on it. (married with children, digsys dinner) The i got into Masterplan, maybe. (half the world away, rockin chair, talk tonight) Somewhere between these times i also listened to Familiar to Millions (never gotten into that) and SOTSOG (my sister had it). i have gotten into oasis thru internet and library. I guess im not into oasis albums - im just into oasis songs (lots of b-sides) and attitude off course. I have big collection of oasis best tracks. dont worry, you righteous brothers, im going to buy more of their stuff when the time and the money is right, and they dont really need the money, i do a lot PR for them .

Definitely Maybe (What's The Story) Morning Glory? Be Here Now Standing On The Shoulder of Giants The Masterplan Heathen Chemistry Don't Believe The Truth
With the exception of Definitely Maybe (because I was at uni in America at the time) and The Masterplan (because I already had all the singles), I've bought every album on the day it came out.

I can't remember the exact order I bought all the albums, but I bought the Familiar To Millions double cd first, and then I bought Be Here Now, because I heard a small clip of D'you Know What I Mean on the dvd version of Familiar To Millions. I thought that song sounded awesome, so I just had to get that album! But it was actually Go Let It Out that got me into Oasis.

I'm old so I got them all in the order they were released back at home, and got all the UK singles via import too. I'm even such a nerd I bought extra silver and gold boxes to hold the singles off the later albums. You can see in the pic of my tower - look closely and you will see a silver and gold pack of real Benson & Hedges to match (ya I'm a super nerd)

Then DM. It had some good songs on it. (married with children, digsys dinner) Wow, you prefer them ahead of Live Forever or Slide Away? i didnt mention live forever cause it was so obvious and it came out as a single and on radio and i knew it before i never heard of the album or listened to it - i think live forever is the best song on DM. But what i mean is that those were the songs that i discovered from listening DM... ive never really gotten that into slide away, though i think its a good song. Married with children is something that i have added to my collection of playing songs on guitar and singing, its one of the songs im able to sing sounding decent, so i guess thats why i dig it so much and i love the middle part... and of course there are supersonic, cigarettes n alcohol rocknrollstar..
