This has been annoying me for years..

On the internet there has been a song titled 'Oasis - Trouble (Cat Stevens Cover)' that has been on Limewire/Ares since about 2001.. i know it's not Oasis and tried to look it up on Wikipedia but even that told me that it was Oasis (so i corrected it).

To me it sounds like Fran Healy from Travis but does anybody know for sure?

I'm hoping a lot of you know what i'm on about.. if not i will upload it for you.

I've had that. One of the first songs I ever downloaded, off Kazaa in 2003 or so. Did you check into it being the original Cat Stevens version or maybe an alternate version?

There's a few things like that that keep showing up. A cover of Mrs. Robinson by the Lemonheads claiming to be by Oasis, some crap called The Blue Prophet, etc. People find them and don't bother removing them from their share folder. I'd just recommend searching "trouble cat stevens cover" and see if you get anything not labeled Oasis.
