Can't say I'm too confident in the US squad achieving the upset they did last time they went down to South America and came in tournament 4th.
They are sending a very young team with none of the European Club stars ( except for Casey Keller). I'm sure the Argentinians are ready for some revenge after the last 2 encounters with the US ( 3:0 loss at Copa America, and 1:0 loss in Washington DC)

you're hitting a nerve webby I can't say I have great expectations. I hope we give a good image, judging by the players they really should do a great tournament, but we are very weak in the defense and they tend to just leave everything for messi to resolve. hopefully I'm wrong ;D

you're hitting a nerve webby Sorry I don't think you have anything to worry about from us this time around, although back when we beat you we hardly knew how to play ok , I'm waiting for some UK guys to tell me we still don't know how to play

it's a pity that the US won't have their best team.
Argentina has the best team and they should be in the final against Brazil once again, I'm not making any predictions on the outcome of that match, at least for now.
I think Colombia will only make it to the quarters. Some of those players shouldn't be on our national team...
Chile will be one team to watch out for. they have young talented players and they have something to prove cos they've been very bad the last few years. they're coach is an asshole though, so that might be against them

Brazil - Mexico 0 - 2 God , I just checked Sports Illustrated and their writer is calling the US squad a "junior Varsity College team" WTF, why would you put this team out to slaugher like that against the best South American squads. Apparently because the US team is invited as a "guest" the European clubs do not have to release our veteran stars.... I guess it's gonna be a great learning experience...wouldn't want to be on the field tonight.....

Paraguay 5 - Colombia 0
the one good thing we used to have was our defense.... but not anymore... It makes me sad but I must admit we're one of the 3 weakest teams on South America.

what?! jeez, man are so needy ok, fine. I guess I should make some sort of.... it's not gonna make me look good... I'll make it short, you can read my post somewhere else if you know what I mean. fuck brazil, they played like a small team. and fuck us, we couldn't solve the game, just the one they needed to win it's like we're federer in rolland garros and they are nadal. even if it's supposed to be the logical outcome you can't win and make it happen. oh one more thing, screw brazil and their 5 men defense. they did not "play well" or "put a good show". fuck their strategy. ffs this is not chess

Brazil didn't play like a small team, in fact they had enough chances to have scored 1 or 2 more goals, they were better on defense, on the mid-field and attacking. Anyway, you'll get revenge and I think Argentina is gonna be one of the best teams in 2010 WC. Messi will be mature enough, so will Tevez, Aguero, Gago, Mascherano.

I wonder what was like in the dressing room before the game: 'yeah we'll fucking rape those monkeys. no need no effort'
