do argentinian and brazilian teams usually win it? or there are other good teams (like Olimpia in 2002)?

uruguayan teams used to be great teams... but nowadays they dont have the economy facilities that brazilian and argentinian teams have...
i think boca jrs is the best south american team, but i think that velez sarsfield and nacional (uru) are good enough.

do argentinian and brazilian teams usually win it? or there are other good teams (like Olimpia in 2002)? Yep. Great teams besides the brazilians and argentinians are LDU (Ecuador), Colo Colo (Chile), Nacional (Urugay), many of the mexican. I'm gonna leave the peruans, bolivians and colombians out of this coz it's shit hard to win them in their homes but only coz of the cities altitudes (4000 meters above sea average). But yes I strongly believe that if Chelsea or Barcelona would play for the cup, they would never win.

Cúcuta Deportivo!--->My team!
It's only like 50 meters above sea level and quite near the ecuador line, but it's hundreds of miles away from the sea, so the heat is almost unbearable to most the foreigners.
I'll be happy if we make it to the last 16 or the 4er finals, we're newbies. But who knows! We've got a very strong team this year, leading the league and all, new stadium, more fans. It's quite even in southamerica.

lol Cucuta's test will be against Gremio here in Brazil. If you guys get a positive result, you'll get my respect. I'll be very very surprised if Cucuta can even get a draw against Gremio. I think both colombian teams are going to get eliminated in this group. It's a shame cos there are some decent teams here but the tournament only rewards mediocrity so that's why we have 3 very bad teams in la Libertadores. maybe Tolima is the strongest imo, but they're still shit in an international context

So what d'you all think of Cúcuta's tie in Porto Alegre? Couldn't see the game obviously, and the reviews are shit, so pleeaase tell me how it went!

Must say that BOCA JUNIORS will win AGAIN the CUP (Yeah like in 1977,1978,2000,2001,2003...) PODRAN IMITARNOS, PERO IGUALARNOS JAMAS. Jugador N 12.

Gracias por la info, 'gwoón'. Todo bien! ¡Cúcuta! **nananá I saw the highlights on youtube (all in portuguese, been learning a lot of that lately!). "O campeâo de Colombia, Cúcuta nâo é tâo fraca como tudo o mundo esperava, nâo tâo fraca". I played that like 10 times, couldn't stop smiling.

I didn't know that! Anyway, I hope we beat them in Cúcuta, that will pretty much ensure the 2nd position. If we don't we'll be fucked.
