Beckham didn't go for the Money, he went I believe to play football, if I was given i choice to play for Bolton or LA, I'd go with LA, it's English speaking, he goes all the time as is, he set up now two football schools in LA.
As for the anti Mrs Beckham.
I still honestly beleive that without her, he would have never captained England for aslong as he did. She pushed him on, and I think drove him to things he would have never came near without her help, I don't mind her, she seems harmless, just a normal celeb, she walks around with the same look as the rest, but she is persecuted for it, I personally don't understand that theres a world that puts George Best on bank notes, a alco and wifebeater, and dispises a mother, who seemingly just annoyed people by marrying a footballer and the expression on her face.
(And I hate England (well their press), Man United & I'm not a huge fan of Madrid

Tam here,, I suppose I cld bang on about how he wants to "break america" and how it will be advantageous for his wife's career, etc.. how he's selling out.,, how sports players get paid too much..
but in all reality he earned what he has, he sees this as an opportunity, he and posh made a decision for their family.. looking at the big picture..
I wish them all the best...why would I want to harbor any bad feelings.. his life is prolly stressful and all these things come at a certain price.. he's no different than the rest of us in that sense

It's a fucking appalling amount of money. He's going to be earning in four weeks what the entire Galaxy team earnt between them in the whole of last season.
Beckham should be ashamed of himself, the LA Galaxy should be ashamed of themselves, and FIFA need to get their arse in gear and sort out a salary cap so this kind of thing never happens again.
What worries me most is the possibility of footballers in Europe catching wind of it and using it to negotiate deals as obscene as Beckham's.
