Karma (not the L4E kind) ~ excerpts from Ethics for a New Millenium by the Dali Lama ~in Sanskirt KARMA means "action." it denotes and active force , the inference being that the outcome of future events can be influenced by our actions... ~who creates Karma ? we ourselves. what we think, say, do, desire, and omit creates Karma. example of this, even as a person writes , the very action creates new circumstances and can cause some other event to happen ie. typed words can cause a response in the reader's mind... ~ a few weeks ago my friend, KIm got a piece of paper out and she wrote: reaction then she added a C: it spelled Creation.... your thoughts ? have a groovy day.... (I love having summer's off and the TIME to ponder such things.. tis a blessing..)

i dont beleive in karma, i refuse to, because i beleive that karma can be used in a bad sense as well as a good sense, was in a taxi once, a cheap one with like 4 other strangers there, and this man was on about how karma is present everyday, and went on to say that the holicost was not evil etc, as it was just the "karma effect" or however its fraized for the death of christ, then he went into some drunkin ramble about a nazi pope

Belief in reincarnation allows one to feel that the soul is immortal - which it is. When it ceases to exist in the physical - it will return in another body in a future timeline. Many people find this as a source of great comfort. Sometimes they see the next life as a way to rectify wrongful deeds committed in this or a prior lifetime.
