Addiction to anything is weakness. I try and live by that mantra. Yep, this is pretty much my mentality too. My parents used to be smokers and I hated it, I would be having lunch and they would sit next to me while lighting one cig after another. My grandpa died of lung cancer. This didn't stop me from trying though, I mean, at one point you want to know what it is like. Anyway, it smells bad, that's the main reason why I hate it. I don't mind it when I'm in a pub for some reason, but when I'm walking through town and someone blows smoke in my face..nah, just not having that. I do smoke weed occasionally though, so I guess I'm just a hypocrite.

I'm actually not that bothered by the smell nowadays, I guess I've just got used to it by now, but I'll still never go near the stuff. It just strikes me as a colossal waste of money

That car was so Awrsome you never wanted to leave it .. Those cars are actually becoming a collectible. If a person wanted start with a cheap classic car. One of those would be it, because in 10 years the price will go up. Especially, the room and big block engines in them.

My grandparents from my dad's side loved to smoke and drink. From my mum's side only my granddad smoked, but my grandmum (my mum's mum) never smoked and she had the longest life of all 4. I myself used to be a smoker in past, so I know how a cigarette after a meal tastes.
My guets at my house can only smoke in my backyard.
What I never understand is a pregnant woman having a cigarette. To me it's a crime to your very own yet have to be born child.

Addiction to anything is weakness. I try and live by that mantra. No. Addiction is a grip, a maladaptive coping skill. It takes strength to overcome. (Your) Lack of understanding is the weakness. If only you knew what people go through.....

Addiction is a genetic problem too.
To me addiction is weakness, because I would find it sad to let a little thing like a cigarette define and decide my life. I'm not saying that people who smoke are weak, I'm just saying that I would feel a bit weak. Not sure if RFB was coming from the same point though.
Can't understand pregnant women smoking either. And then they're all ''oh my baby is having trouble breathing or asthmatic, oh I wonder how that happened''. It's incredibly egotistical. I hate how people say ''oh it's your own choice''. NO. You're carrying a baby inside you, another life, who hasn't asked for this. You're responsible for it. To smoke or drink, or do whatever can affect the baby's health in a negative way, is extremely unfair and selfish. It also makes me incredibly mad when I see women walking behind a pram, smoking. Just because the baby is out doesn't mean you're not affecting it anymore with your dumb actions.
