This song is fucking great. Fun to play on guitar too.
Btw I realised yesterday that Kim Gordon is 65! Damn.

I gotta say this is one of the best shoegaze songs I've heard this year. Well it's actually a few years old but whatever. They're a Finnish shoegaze band and I had never heard of them until someone mentioned them a few months ago. The first 4 minutes is classic shoegaze with great guitar tones and then there's a transition and suddenly it's like something from Tame Impala's Innerspeaker. Very cool. carlober asimarx lubeck mystoryisgory

https%3A//soundcloud.com/sulkofficial/wishful-things What a tune. That is the kind of song I imagine The Stone Roses would put on their third album if they were arsed to make one.
Too bad SULK are not up to very much these days.

The beginning sounded like someone was constantly switching between Slowdive's Dagger and a cross between MBV's Come in Alone and Neutral Milk Hotel's Holland 1945. The heavier bits are a lot more noise-rock influenced than I'm used to from shoegaze. The second part was also very nice! Even though I'm not a huge fan of Innerspeaker.

It's been many years since I first discovered Dylan, and this is the album I keep coming back to.
PS I finally gave Blood on the Tracks a full chance.

PS I finally gave Blood on the Tracks a full chance. I've only listened to the album once, but will again someday. Just had somewhat of a Dylan period recently, but never got to that one! Anyway, the title track and All Along the Watchtower I have heard way more times than once! I especially love the melody in "JWH", you can't listen without automatically humming it. "Reviews" of that one as well as a few other Dylan albums are available in the "what album did you last listen to?" thread if you're intrested

The rumour is that Gram Parsons wrote 'Wild Horses' instead of the Stones. I doubt there's any truth in it but both versions are fucking great anyway They were very good friends with Keith though and Gram was a massive influence for him.
