well...
1. Oasis as a whole aren't touring at the moment.
2. Noel is doing a semi-acoustic tour which he started at the Koko in London...
he is also playing 2 dates next month at the Royal Albert hall (in London).
3. They played at the astoria on the last tour and will more than likely play another London date on the next tour.
4. Patience is a virtue.

oh... and actually, the last time the band as a whole did play live was this month at the Brit Awards... in LONDON

i want them to come to Washington DC god fuckin damn it! It's only the most important city in N. America, and is primarily a young city, dominated by many big Universities -- why the hell are they so relecutant to play here.
Next tour, wherever they play, im going to find away to see them -- narrowly missed them in Philly in 2005 due to being on vacation, then missed them later in London bc i was a traveling back! fuckin hell

they both stink! Houston is the way to be! Oasis in the 3,000 people small Verizon theater in Houston was awesome!

DC'er here too.... they haven't played in the city since the 9:30 club in 1994 and 1995
Verizon Center would be a terrible idea, it's too big, the Patriot Center is a much better venue for rock bands being slightly more intimate
but the best venue overall would be Wolf Trap, they have a lawn... and you can bring your own beer in coolers!

I wasn't looking for a nice intimate gig I was going for as close to a stadium gig as we can get here in the states. I've been to wolf trap for a few gigs and was a bit disappointed. I was inside for a Lynyrd Skynyrd gig last year and got yelled at for pulling out my lighter, and then once I was on the lawn once and the view wasn't the best. Plus with Wolf Trap the front row seats are all reserved for people who hold "season tickets" and most of them are people who get tickets to see the orchestra concerts couldn't believe the number of people dressed up in suites every time I go.

Oasis should come over here to Hawaii! Of course, barely anyone would come cause everyone here listens to shit music, hell I'd probably be the only one there. I need to save up one day and see them in Britain, that would be fuckin' brilliant.

I got an idea for the DC peeps on this board. DC United will be getting a new soccer only stadium in Anacostia hopefully by next album time for the band. It will have about 30 thousand seats... that would be perfect for oasis, 15-20 thousand people on the grass..
I don't think they could come close to the 35 thousand needed to fill RFK respectably, even though it has the BEST acoustics of any outdoor stadium in the US and maybe the entire world.
