It just seems weird, I've heard some rumors about Keep The Dream Alive becoming the fourth single from DBTT, but it's been months since LTBL was released and nothing has come out... and considering all the good critics about DBTT it would be a shame left it with only three singles!

Love Like A Bomb would be a great Spring/Summer single.

I actually believe we do not gotta count on it. On the other hand .. why won't they release another single? 3 singles are a bit strange, I believe the less singles from one album compared to all albums they release (right?). Aldo they don't do tours or do promo things for DBTT from now on and stuff, for the management and the fans it would be great to do a forth single. Just shoot a video and that's it ! Drop some good b-sides on it, and release it when the DVD " Lord Don't Slow Me Down " comes out. Will generate money by selling the singles, some more DBTT albums, and will promote the DVD as an extra. And It also would be great for the fans, for us ! Some more great B-side are welcome, just to have a bit more magic to listen to while waiting for the next album! And KTDA is a good single song, and cool to listen to on the radio! Releasing it as a double single with Turn Up The Sun would be great (spring/summer charttoppers !) The Beatles did the same with Strawberry Fields Forever and Penny Lane, and Oasis did it once as well right? This way they also keep intersting new fans. SO: Don't think they will, but would be better to do release another one ! For every party that is connected with the Oasis matters

I just hope that there would have been fourth single..KTDA or Love like a bomb, like StepOut said. Both are very spring/summer feeling songs. So why? Because DBTT is full of great songs, and new single could give new boost to it. You never know.

yeah a single and video can boost sales like crazy. i know oasis arent crazy about videos but it does sell a single like nothing else can. i keep wanting to bash whoever came up with the concept (or creative lack there of...) for ltbl.
and i think 4th single being ktda wouldnt be a bad idea at all - people are playing on their own accord i heard it on the radio, someone was saying how it was shown with the closin gof the commonwealth games.......so i mean at the very least (which amounts to quite a bit in sales) indutry folk think the masses will like it or they wouldnt be using it

3 is enough why do you want anymore Well we usually get 4 singles per album, the only exceptions being when an album either: a) Doesn't go down well with the public b) The band get bored/sick of it Which has only happened with BHN and SOTSOG. Every other album we have gotten 4 singles off of, and with Noel and everyone else chatting up DBTT so much I thought we would get one more for sure. Plus more singles = more B-sides = more new material! (and by which I mean hopefully good material, not just ANOTHER live version of Rock 'n' Roll Star or nothing 2 minute bore-a-longs like The Quiet Ones or SHIS(OMO)).

Love Like A Bomb would be a great Spring/Summer single. agree. It's such a summer tune. Little to no promotion would be needed, just release it and back it with some airplay and that's it. It would do very well.

Just a question: why do people always say that LLAB is a perfect summer tune? Just because Oasis said that on the DBTT DVD? Okay, it's a happy kinda song, and it's uplifting, but to me it doesn't sound as a chart topper at all. KTDA is as uplifting as LLAB, actually to me it's even more uplifting. Turn Up The Sun (ya know, the sun, summer ...) will do good as well !!!!

How about Keep The Dream Alive and Love Like A Bomb as a double A-side? It'd be like Little By Little/She Is Love. Only a lot better. Love Like A Bomb sounds summery because of that piano riff. Good tune for a sunny day.

yeah it's not gonna happen. the boys are back home having a break and it's been almos 6 months since the release of LTBL. I agree that there should have been a 4th single but the time has already past for it. Maybe they didn't release it cos they wanted to finish the deal with sony....... that's my guess. cos Noel actually loves this album, he's been talking very well about it and it's not like the other albums cos this time he's been talking for a long time about how good it is and how it's close to DM. and the album also went down very well with the fans and the critics, in fact this tour is their longest ever so they did enjoy touring for this album.... so imo it's neither of the 2 reason pointed out above
edit: so we all need to stop fantasising about a 4th single, cos the lads will probably get in the studio to record new stuff around Oct/Nov... as Noel said in his interview in TO

Did anyone in the UK get one of the mailing list DBTT boxes to put in the album and DVD singles?? Cos if there is space to fit another single in the box it would mean they intend to release another.... ....although i think its highly unlikely!!
