Sure other tours had other songs, maybe better setlists in somes eyes, we were all younger and having more "fun" as well.
however i have many bootlegs from all the oasis tours, and when i listen back to them, especially wtsmg and bhn tours, all the songs seemed rushed into and out of and are played a faster pace.
when you listen to dbtt bootlegs, they just take their time and play every song perfect. From the all the new intros and outros, all the songs just sound amazing.
I think musically this may of been their best tour.

no, liam's voice has been crap on bootlegs (although it sounds amazing in person). Live Forever sounds like piss. A few songs sound better, like my generation and bring it on down.

due to zak a lot of songs were paced down and it's a bit of a change i think... also you just get to hear more from better instrumentalists as gem&andy cos honestly their was just a wall of blurry noise coming out of bonehead's amps. however, that made the band what it was in those days.
it depends on what kind of live music you prefer. the punkish and aggressive noise from 93-95, the stadiumkings from 96-98-2000 or 4 fine musicians plus the crow as the singer

Rather disappointingly, Manchester was one of his worst shows of the tour (IMO), but it's the best proshot we've got. This has been the first tour since Morning Glory when his vocals haven't seriously deteriorated from the start to the finish. HC was terrrrrrible for that. And to whoever said the BHN tour was better...well...of course it was, they were touring a better album :-)

Thats what i thought, I was like BHN was my favorite tour by far. That was my memory of the time and the songs, I was I think 16-17 at the time, totally wasted in NYC for the hammerstein shows and right up front in Continental Airlines arena. But when i listen back to songs from that time to the DBTT ones, the DBTT tour just sounds better. WTSMG, C&A, DLBIA, CS.. Like someone said above it was just some what of a start to finish wall of sound on previous tours, you can hear it on the bootlegs. On DBTT the instruments sound better, you can hear all aspects of the songs, intro and outros are amazing.. eh i just can't wait to see them again

Did anyone go to Newcastle??? It was brilliant. I've mentioned this before, but I'm going to mention it again.... Noel's guitar strings broke during song bird and he was stuck with nothing to do and so took it off. Liam looked across to see what was going on and Noel sort of shrugged his shoulders and pulled a face so then while Gem and Andy played on Noel and Liam linked arms and did like a couple of spins round together. The place went mental. I keep asking if anyone got it on film - but no. So... I'm asking again - and is there anyone else out there that saw it. (it was the second night - Wednesday). And they did Live Forever like I've never heard it before - MEGA.

If they only could turn up Gem's amps a bit. Supersonic from this tour sounds pretty bad since you can't really hear the mainriff at all.
