About 30-40 of us waited patiently after the Indy show to see the boys come out afterward. It was freaking cold too. Andy wandered out first but got on the bus in a hurry. Security kept telling us that they may not come out until 1 a.m. We watched a lot of pizza, Guinness and Corona go in but no Gallaghers come out for a long time. Finally, right at 1, Liam emerged. He was great, signing autographs, hugging people, shaking hands. Gem came out, chatted for little bit and moved on. Noel came out and was great. He seemed to be in a very good mood.
I was especially happy for a guy who brought an Epiphone guitar just like Noel's to have him sign it. The guy had lost his jacket during the show and gutted out the 30-something-degree cold to get it signed. Sure enough, Noel was gracious enough to do it. (By the way, the guy was just a huge fan, he said he had no plans to sell it). There was another guy who told Noel that he's waited 11 years to meet him, to which Noel smiled and joked, "You've been standing out here for 11 years?"
Sadly, I wasn't pushy enough to be one of the lucky ones to get an autograph. But that's OK, despite my chapped lips it was still great to see them come out and mingle with the crowd. Oh well, maybe I can try again after the Cincinnati show.

So when does the show end? How long were you all out there? Did you have to go to some back gate? I'd love to see em in Houston...
I reckon I'll just leave, grab a beer, come back. That's how it happened when I bumped into the Kings of Leon after a show...not even intending to meet them.

The way the theater was set up, the tour buses were right in the back lot. Rather than being able to get out of the building through some remote area, their only way out was a stage entrance right by the regular entrance in the back. So if Houston has a similar set up, you can maybe do the same.

I remember back in i think 2002 in nyc at the beacon theather the first night. me and my friend waited about 3 hours. the security guards left b4 we did, there was around 7 people out side at like 2am, we weren't even sure if they were still in there, then all of a sudden just noel walked out alone, he was totally trashed, he hugged us all and got in the van. was a great moment.
then the second night we did the same and they all walked out around 2 mins aftther show and hopped in the van.

Well, I did more waiting in the cold in Cincinnati Saturday night. The good news this time is I got my autographs. The security staff were not nearly as friendly as they were in Indy. The Taft Theater security ass clowns tried to tell everyone they had to get off the sidewalk. Problem for them was, it was a city sidewalk and there was nothing they can do about it. Nobody budged. Much like sisao9389's experience, the band outlasted security and they finally called it a night. About 25 people and one dog waited until 2:15 and Noel finally emerged. Again, he was gracious and all smiles but looked tired. Liam came out a few minutes later with Gem and all three signed for everybody. I'm not sure when the hell Andy came out, he's very stealth-like. Again, a very cool experience.
Also, I met a few board members at the show, all very nice people. It was nice to put some faces with names. I find that Oasis fans in general are a very cool and friendly bunch.

She said it was fuckin snowing at points and that she waited bout 4hrs but, it all paid off when she saw Liam. Kickin myself for not going.
