Just got back from the best show of my life EVER. REALLY! And I gotta say it quick coz I'm almost dead tired but they played Supersonic. YES, not lying. I'd never thought I'd be so surprised to say that they played that amazing song (beautifully BTW) but I lost my voice by the time of the beginning of TMOS. I'll write a detailed review when I'm sober up. EDIT - MY REVIEWMADNESS! That's the only word to describe last night's gig. 14.600 tickets sold out. The band was so amazing and AMAZED by the crowd too. Believe it. Liam kept saying 'Best crowd man, best crowd'. Noel was in such a great mood and so were Gem, Zak and specially Andy. A brazilian indie band called Moptop was the opener and they were alright. But when the lights went off, it was total chaos. Went with my brother and we were on the extreme left side of the stage but when FITB hit I was already right in the middle in front of Liam. They started with TUTS and the rain that was waiting all day to pour, began at the same time. It was like purification I must say. I could not stay in my feet and the only thing that kept me standing up there was the ppl around squeezing me. BIOD got everyone there INSANE, I couldn't believe it. Never seen the ppl like that. Maybe coz the last time they came here to SP was 8 years ago and they were waiting so long for that show. It was my brother's first Oasis show and he couldn't believe his eyes. They finished BIOD and Noel said 'It rains like Manchester yeah?'. Morning Glory came in and right before it was finished I went to get some air coz I was about to faint. So I missed Cigs & Alcohol  . But went back there right after it and got there by the time of TIOBI. Masterplan was great. But some mates were asking for Supersonic really loud and than they started singing some verses of the song and the whole crowd got into it and sang along. I thought Noel didn't get so happy with that coz he riffed Acquiesce right on it. Live Forever was dedicaded to the Brazilian national football team and it was a highlight. Noel was doing some impros with the solos. Couldn't believe it. For anyone that has collected all the boots from this tour, they'd be as amazed as I got. RNRS went to finish the first part and everyone went WILD and they made a different ending to it. A little bit longer. Zak was the chief on the song. The lights went off and we sang the Don't Go Away chorus and all of the sudden Zak comes in alone and starts hitting the drums intro of Supersonic (with the lights off) I thought 'naaah he's just fucking around'. But the lights went on and the band came back and Liam said something I didn't understand but obviously they sacked GGTIA at the last minute. The song was AMAZING. I swear I almost cryed. I screamed so fucking hard that on TMOS I could even speak anymore. But the thing is that I forgot about DLBIA and My Gen and I gotta say I should've kept one last breath to those songs. AMAZING SHOW. Amazing. I know now that I'll love Oasis forever for. Sincerely one of the best nights of my life to me and my brother. Setlist: 00. Fuckin' In The Bushes 01. Turn Up The Sun 02. I was gonna write a review of the gig too, but I read yours and mine would be pretty much the same, so I'm just gonna add some things. I was on the right side of the stage, between Noel and Liam. At the beggining of the gig the sound was a bit low were I was, I could hardly hear Liam's voice, just the crowd noise. It got really good a few minutes later, probably because of the crew work or because i went closer to stage, definitely not for the people calming down because we didn't, everybody was singing every song as loud as they could. During the whole gig we had been asking for Supersonic between the songs. On the break before the encore we sang Don't Go Away, but it was our fist and main request that was attended. When Zak started playing the intro, I couldn't believe they were gonna play it either. But when I heard the guitar intro, I went mad, started crying, and I never screamed so much in my whole life. Before this gig I used to think that the only bad thing about Oasis was that they didn't seemed to care much about their fans. Now I think they are totally perfect! I love them even more them I did before! Just before My Generation Noel asked if there was anyone from Rio there. I was around the 5th row and I scremed and jumped like crazy, and I think that maybe he saw the top of my hands ;D , what would make me the happiest person in this planet as I really wanted one of them to notice me and maybe know how much i love them. There's nothing conceptually better than going to São Paulo for the first time. There's nothing conceptually better than 6:20 hours waiting in line. There's nothing conceptually better than having cramps because of so much jumping. There's nothing conceptually better than rock 'n' roll. And above them all... There's nothing conceptually better than OASIS!!!  |

I was there and I must say Supersonic was the most amazing thing ever!!!!! SAM was almost killing me sufocated! (she's kinda short to see the stage without my help  ) Everyone in the band was great, but I have to say that Zak has brought a lot to Oasis, specially live! Man what that guy does in RNRS, MF, Supersonic, My Generation (fucking brilliant) is incredible!!! Ps. Noel had to change his guitar in the middle of Live Forever. He was really excited with his solo and a string went off. Great solo! Ps. 2: Oasis is bigger than life! |

Good, the first incredible moment was the entrance of the band in place,
that simply I trembled and cried. Later lode rain, and I nor repaired.
Another one I cry in champagne supernova. But qdo started riffs of supersonic, soon, was crazy ja that I always follow shows of the band and know as is dificult they to change some music of setlist! Or either, BRAZIL Is AMAZING!!
Arriving in the music Dont look back in to anger, I cried again and I sang horrors very moved and you here, it close the eye and I see the show passing in my mind again! PERFECT SHOW IN BRAZIL!
