They are also skipping Florida which has the second most concetration of Brits outside of NYC.
Last tour they played twice in Florida.
Can't believe they are skipping.

Doesn't look good for a one-off NY show. LA is just logistically an impossibility given the spread of dates already planned. MSG has two open dates between the 10th and 20th of March, as does Continental Airlines and Irving Plaza. Because it's so close to those dates, if they were to do a surprise NY show I think it would be in a smaller venue like Irving Plaza given the short time to sell tix. Noel has already said Mexico City is the end of the tour so dates planned after that show do not seem likely. I am still holding hope for a NY show...too much time between South America and Toronto not to drop in a NY date.

Doesn't look like it. As far as I know, this is the last month of touring for Oasis.

I've given up hope. They'll prolly stay in NYC prior to the Toronto date just because they seem to luv it here but any "surprise shows" aren't very plausible.

Letterman is all re-runs this week. You'd imagine Liam would spend the offtime in Toronto since Nicoles family is there.

Thing is that Oasis has never been the type of band to announce secret or last minute shows. Those kinds of "rewards" are usually for bands that are into thier fans. Unfortunately Noel hasn't thought to highly of us lately or keeping his dedicated fans happy. If anything last minute arrises, it usually takes place in a band's hometown.

Also, it's right around this time when they do these lengthy tours that Noel says "he's finished" or that he's "sick of everyone in the band" (see Manchester Online). I am sure this is it for at least three to four years before we see them again.

The North American tour starts on Monday. That's it for this tour. Hopefully they'll start working on new material later on in the year.

The man seems like he can't even stand hangin out with Nic sometimes let alone her entire family. Last time they were in NYC, security had to be called up to their floor at the hotel they were stayin at coz the 2 of em were havin a pretty loud & violent argument. Liam kept on storming out of the hotel to go for "walks".

We fuckin love them, spend $$$ up the ass and what do we get, a show that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. But, yeah, I hate that they dont do special shit for us.

Noel is 38 going on 58. He can't be asked to do anything these days. They do the minimum promotion and thats it.
