According to a story on nme.com, the Foo Fighters are to play their own headline show in London's Hyde Park on Saturday 17th June. Support acts for the show will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
Tickets - cost currently unknown - are due to go on sale this coming Saturday (11th Feb) at 9am.
We've also heard whispers that the day before the Foo Fighters show is planned to be an Oasis headline show. However, we understand that this is still in the planning stages, and it's possible that nothing will come of it...

That would be the show of the century.
The only reason I'd give it credence is they haven't played a big London show on the ENTIRE tour, unless I'm forgetting one.
And Milton Keynes doesn't count, I was there, and it didn't have a London feel in the least (Noel said to the crowd the first day - "I want to officially welcome everyone to the middle of fucking nowhere ... does anyone live here?).
A good proper huge London gig is overdue - and they've never played Hyde Park.
But I find it very hard to believe that Noel would cut into the "six-month vacation" that he recently touted that will start after Mexico City.

man, do the Foo Fighters Rock! they are a decent rock band, with loud guitars combined with sweet melodies. and Dave Grohl is a fucking geezer. I can tell, I was in the pit at a Foo's gig the 31th of January this year. It was in Amsterdam and it was a nice one!!

If they offered enough cash, I'd bet Noel'd do it. And the Spike Island gig with Ian Brown and Coldplay.
