My speculation is the Arctic Monkeys, theyre playing a show in Toronto on the 21. I wish but the thing that makes me doubt that is that Noel has been publicly slagging them off to the press.

I'm assuming the Redwalls aren't "special guests." I'm really hoping it's something better than that.

Last time a "special guest" was announced for an oasis gig was Across The Narrows and it was all a fookin lie. No special guests the day of. The promoters just wanted to sell more bloody tix.

I think it could be the Monkeys, regardless of Noel slagging them. He just made fun of the name, I haven't heard him say anything about their music, tho I would prefer the 'phonics myself. Have yet to see them.

I've listened to the Artic Monkeys new stuff and was underwhelmed. You know the state of rock is shite when they're the biggest new act out there. Kind of like The Strokes. I wouldn't pay anything to see them - they just don't have any songs. People are going on too about Razorlight, but again, they haven't put out a good album. It's ridiculous.
Just makes me really appreciate the boys that much more.
The best example of all is the Strolling Bones touring AGAIN and selling out stadiums. Absurd. You couldn't give me a ticket to watch that snoozefest.
Tho I do plan to goto the David Gilmour show in L.A. in April. That will be MEGA.
On an unrelated note, I think The Doves are the most underrated band out there at the moment. They actually have SONGS, unlike so many of the so-called hot new bands. They are the best support I've seen on the tour - including Jet and Kasabian. Althought I do like those bands as well. I think Kasabian could be on the cusp of something big, if they can keep it together.

I highly doubt its The Killers. The band is holed up in Las Vegas recording their 2nd album. Not doing any gigs right now till maybe the summer.
