Absolutely brilliant from the moment of loads of people singing stay young in the queue to eveeryone at the end of the gig clapping and singing along to let there be love(over the PA)
we got in and rambled around the place for about an hour then settled down in the pit to watch shack whowerent bad at the start but every single one of their songs sounded the same and they got a bit boring.I felt sorry for them though people shouting 'fuck off' and chants of 'your shit' but anyway theere wasnt such a long wait as usual for the main act and wen FITB came on the place erupted. As usual up until bring it on down u couldnt really hear liam but who cared. Before TIOBI there was a big ole ole ole chant and Noel just stood there looking at his watch and asked us were we finished yet,gem and andy were just laughing.the masterplan was unbelievable - words cant explain.A bell will ring got a deadly reception and i was very happy for gem who was flawless all night.
The mayhem struck, wen liam threw the tambourine in about 20 people fell to the groung fighting for it and then this huge guy with no top on who was covered in tatoos jumped on them and ripped it off the guy who caught it but your man wud not let it go and your man threatened to kill him,his family and all his friends and he then looked me straight in the eyes so i basically shat myself and legged it away from him.
back o the show an live forever was dedicated to george best and the crowd sang the whole first verse, and then some because liams micrpophone seemed to stop working for a minute and he wasnt happy. He was looking as cool as fuck and noel as well.Champagne supernova and rock n roll star were just mindblowing, the crowd were absolutely mad.Guess god thinks im abel followed by the meaning of soul which are 2 of my favourites and are both brilliant live.DLBIA as usual spine tingling and Zak showed his class on my generation.Muck fingers was also a huge highlight.
Then at the end let there be love was played over the pa and everyone was singing and clapping it was class
I had a friend there who doesnt particularly like oasis but doesnt think they are bad and he loves u2 and saw them earlier this year and he said oasis were way better

Glad to hear ABWR got a great reception. That song is easily one of the tracks of the year and one of the best songs Oasis have put their name to for years.

sounds like it was an amazing gig, wish I could have been there to sing slong on 'stay young' with all of you! I want to hear masterplan soooo badly live, and I agree with you KingofLeon, A bell will ring is easily their best song live off DBTT, so much energy, great intro chords, then when the guitars really kick in, mindblowing, they really have done a number to it since Glasto and Poole a year ago, it's killer now!

I was there in standing. Not too rowdy. Front row balcony tonight. Hope to get some better pics.
Liam stopped during two songs, I think sound was an issue, and someone might've thrown something (again).
Noel sounded GREAT, best I've heard him. He did some extra stuff in terms of singing and guitar playing that he normally doesn't do. Just some extra punch.
My Generation was extra long, with some guitars at the end that they weren't doing in Man City and NY and LA.
Liam was horse when talking, but his singing voice was spot on.

Has anyone here seen a *bad* show at the Point? I mean, I haven't been there (yet!), but a lot of really brilliant gigs seem to happen there.... U2's end of the decade gigs there were legendary, R.E.M.'s show on the ATS tour this year was the best show of the whole tour, in 2003 Oasis's gigs there were the best of the short 2003 tour (I think, anyway)... and now last night. It just seems to be a venue that inspires great music.

Have seen Oasis at the Point four times, and they've all been mega! But i've probably seen them there for the last time. Word has it it's to be knocked down for apartments or something shitty

fucking mega again, 1st nite near the back barrier to the pit. My generation was the fucking nuts! In the middle of everyone going crazy.
Last nite right up the front, inbetween Noel and Liam, fucking crazy again. The "rocking" songs, MG, C&Alco, RnR* weren't as mental coz everyone was squashed and couldn't move properly but it was still mega.
Loved both nights

You dont have 'seat's up the front, you have to put in some hardship to earn those positions!

That was us singing Stay Young!! One of the lads had the BBC 97 acoustic version on his phone (that I gave him!) and he put it on loudspeaker and we belted it out!!
I was at the very front barrier the first nite and middle of the pit second nite, pit was even crazier the 2nd nite, or maybe thats just cause I was in the middle of it!! ;D
The vagina beside me got handed the tamourine on the first nite, bastard. Had my hand on it the 2nd nite, but didnt last long!!
Noel did the whole 'lookin at his watch thing' both nights while we sang Ole Ole! We also sang Merry Xmas just before DLBIA but we didnt get much of a response from him.
Thought overall, Noel was very quiet both nights, kinda pissed me off.
I was also a bit unhappy with the sound. I think I was nearly too close to the stage if that makes any sense. I couldnt really hear any of the vocals or talking between songs. And everyone else is singing so made it even harder to hear.
Pissed me off, especially during the masterplan, cause i really wanted to hear that properly.

Had a go of Talk Tonight!! ;D Yeh what was that about when Liam said Supersonic!! I thought it was gonna be a real surprise thrown in. Alan (the lad with the phone - see above! ;D) managed to get himself fucked outta the pit on the first nite!! For 'doin nothin' ;D. Shudda seen the puss on his face the whole walk back after! Suppose he made up for it the 2nd nite by gettin Liams setlist.
