I hope that it isn't the truth Oasis create uproar with Roy Keane tribute Rockers Oasis created uproar in Glasgow last night when they dedicated a song to Irish footballer Roy Keane, who has just signed for Celtic. Liam Gallagher taunted the Rangers fans in attendance before singing 'Bring It Down', saying: "This one's for Roy Keane". Both Noel and Liam Gallagher are Manchester City fans and would never have dedicated a song to the football star while he was playing with Manchester United. The dedication sparked jeers from the Rangers fans in the audience, with many of them throwing plastic beer glasses in the direction of the stage. Liam Gallagher responded by saying: "You can take it, you're grown up, aren't you?" www.rte.ie/arts/2005/1216/oasis.html

Swaggering rock giants Oasis sparked uproar in Glasgow tonight as they dedicated a song to the latest high-profile signing of their boyhood footballing heroes.
"This one`s for Roy Keane," sneered Liam Gallagher, baiting Rangers fans at the beginning of the second of two sell-out show at the SECC.
Keane ended weeks of speculation today about his next move after leaving Manchester United by signing a deal until 2007 with Celtic at Parkhead.
The Gallaghers who are both ardent Man City fans, would never have given the Irishman such a public thumbs-up while he played for their arch-rivals the Red Devils.
The remark sparked a cacophony of cheers and jeers from the blue and green sides of the audience as Old Firm fans voiced their approval or otherwise.
The charismatic frontman sporting his trademark shades, taunted fans as they hurled plastic beer glasses on to the stage, snarling: "You can take it, you`re grown up, aren`t you?," before launching into Bring It On Down.
But any tension evaporated into laughter as he dedicated the next song, Morning Glory - to supermodel Kate Moss.
The band belted out a selection of hits old and new while the five-pieces` fresh blood continued to inject a new lease of life into the back catalogue.
Hits from their latest best-selling album Don`t Believe The Truth, a few souped up old B sides, the signature anthems like Don`t Look Back In Anger and Wonder Wall, along with a stirring version of the rock mini opera that is Champagne Supernova left the 10,000 fans at the indoor arena begging for more.

That just about sums up those Rangers fans! I mean in 2001 at the Glasgow Barrowlands Liam dedicated the final song to Ally McCoist (ex Rangers player) and they never recieved the same childish response from the Celtic fans.
