The song is ok but I'm glad that it wasn't on the Don't Believe The Truth album and it's not a song which I listen to on a regular basis. I've always liked the version of Cast No Shadow better than this song.

Very good tune. Would fit well on DBTT actually.

I've always liked the version of Cast No Shadow better than this song. I think it's a great song but I also think it's depressing as fuck. Let There Be Love is already a downer (despite the positive vibe of it) and I don't think DBTT could handle both, haha.

The song is bang average and a bit dull.
Quite liked that we got new material just after an album release. The UNKLE remix of Cast No Shadow was great.

I remember they came out of nowhere, DBTT had just dropped and suddenly there were this great extra song (way better than the b-sides in that period) and the remix of a classic tune. Such a nice surprise.

Eyeball Tickler is a beast indeed, would love to see it live. Pass Me Down The Wine is an OK b-side IMO. WHo Put The Weight definitely had potencial to be on the album

It's a shame that it was wasted on the Goal sound track and the same goes for that version of Cast No Shadow as it's so good and it's a shame that they didn't do something else with it like put it out as a b.side.

On the worst case scenario save it for DOYS, God knows the second part of the album could have used one more decent tune.

There's a gorgeous song lurking in that track.
The first ninety seconds always put a lump in my throat; the melody and build-up is beautiful. After that, though, it seems to meander around for three minutes. Something doesn't quite hit in the second half. It winds up as a pleasant-but-forgettable tune after starting with such promise. I think it needed a re-write; go back to the verses after the first chorus, add a bridge/middle-eight, that kind of thing. But it could've been a cult classic.

That's true but I've always liked To Be Where There's Life and I don't mind Soilder On.
