just listened to dbtt after not hearing it for about 5-6 weeks..
~ b4 i start, lemme say i do not sit around waiting for noel to write wtsmg part 2. i just don't and that wld be impossible. also, i don't want liam's voice back to 1994, altho i realize that it meant so much to ppl in the uk, rightfully so...

SO, MY THOUGHTS: NOT ANYTHING U DIDN'T THINK/HEAR BEFORE..
1. TURN UP THE SUN IS A GREAT FUCKING OPENING SONG.. ! (WITH FCUKING IN THE BUSHES TO GET US GOING !) NO FANCY WORDS NEEDED HERE, JUST GREAT ENERGY AND LYRICS..

2. MUCKY FINGERS SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.. FUCKING TOP TUNE AND NOEL FINALLY SPEAKS ABOUT POLITIKING ! step aside chris martin, he has said something, he just did not massively advertise it ! yes this is lou reed meets bob dylan ! i love when noel takes things you've heard before and makes it sound so brand new - well done !

3. liam's tunes - in yer face - pure sex appeal !
A. )LLAB - HIS ODE TO 60'S ACTRESS/MODEL JULIE CHRISTIE AS YOU KNOW IS JUST HOT !
4.)TMOS - SHOW ME ONE ROCK N ROLL FRONTMAN THAT SAYS I'M A DIFF BREED - OUTTA YER LEAGUE ETC. AND SOUNDS SO CONVINCING.. HE ALSO USES "DIG ' AND DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A WANNA BE THROW BACK ? !

5. GGTIA - LYRICALLY MAY BE ONE OF THE BEST SONGS IN THE PAST 5 YRS OR SO.. IT'S JUST BEAUTIFUL...

6. POTQ - TOO BAD IT CAN'T BE OR WON'T BE DONE LIVE COS OF THE PERCUSSION.. THIS SONG IS EXHILIRATING ! AND NOEL'S SOCIAL SATIRE PEAKS HERE. I FIND HE CAME FULL CIRCLE FROM 'I LIVE MY LIFE IN THE CITY,, AND WANTING TO GET OUT OF MANC TO GO TO LONDON.. NOW HE QUESTIONS HIS LIFE THERE...

7. TIOBI - NOEL HAS TAKEN HIS SONG WRITING TO NEW HEIGHT HERE.. PERIOD.. I AGREE WITH ANDY - VERY WHIMSICAL - EASY TO LIKE !

8. LYLA - JUST CATCHY ! WE ALL KNOW THAT..

9. A BELL WILL RING - WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT, IT IS A PROPER HIPPY SONG, RINGO'S FAV RIGHT ! GREAT TO SHAKE THOSE HIPS TOO ONCE IT GETS GOING !

10. LET THERE BE LOVE - SONG OF THE YEAR ! PERIOD ! THE SONG JUST BRINGS A CALM OVER ME, LIKE THOSE BEAUTIFUL LENNON TUNES, REMINDING US OF HOW THE WORLD AROUND US CAN BE BEAUTIFUL.. BRINGS HOPE TOO.. NO NEED TO DISCUSS HOW WE ALL MELT WHEN NOEL CHIMES IN... IT'S LIKE HE'S SINGING TO ANAIS MAYBE.. I THINK.. A LULLABY.. TO ALL..

FUCK I AM EXCITED FOR THE FALL TOUR ! NOW ON A RANT NOTE, I ONLY WISH THEY WLD REPLACE CS FOR A SLIDEAWAY OR COLUMBIA - SO THOSE FANS IN THE STATES WLDN'T FUCKING KNOW IT !MANY STAND AROUND AND WAIT FOR THAT ONE, FUCKERS ! OH WELL...
