despite what noel says about no album for a while liam thinks that they are gonna record again quite soon after the tour...I tend to believe him. What do you all think?
He said this on some interview around the V festival if I recall.

Hey, if Liam can pump out some more songs like "Guess God thinks I'm Abel", they should make a new album soon.

It all depends on whether or not Noel is still domineering.
He's being very careful to make sure that when he does release something that it's really good in his books.
Liam is just a fountian of small song as is anxious to put them out.
What I'd like to see is a non-album single around Christmas time a la Whatever

a non album single is not possble, they only did that because they couldnt put it on DM
Liam also said in the interview that Standing and HC were rushed(whatever......). Anyways, Noel has got to be dry out of songs, or he just cant get his ideas right while recording because seriously, look at some of his recent ones...LBL is the easiest rock ballad a la Noel ever written and LTBL is just polishing and old demo. TIOBI and MF I think are what we should expect to see from noel more in his new songs, a little more experimental because face it , he has few songs left from old and I think he's bored of his old writing style.

It's hard to keep writing amazing tunes forever. He more than had his run. MORE.
He wrote THREE albums in entirely plus the best collection of B-sides. It's about time he sat back

It's about time he sat back so true. as u know noel has stated this many times...after awhile u try to say the same thing just with different words.. jesus look at the shite some top bands and artists put out in the later years.. liam said they wld hAVE been treading water w/o andy n gem on dbtt. may be.. down the road noel will go solo, not now, he said he can't picture not being in oasis, and fears doing nothing - washed up... i look fwd to noel solo down the road - visions of those small gigs and a pint.. ok i am off point... oh back 2 the Q - yeah i'll guess 2008, based on gossip.,. that they hv songs stockpiled...noel will look at his bank statement and see it needs filling..

I think Liam will keep pushing for new Oasis albums, and Noel is more laid-back. You wonder if that'll ever lead Liam to start something new. I hope to hell not. Liam has so much pride in Oasis, and the fact that he named the band, that I find that hard to believe. Same with Gem.
