I'm a newbie poster, and I apologise for starting a thread so early, but I'm a longtime lurker.  I've been wondering when some South American, Mexico gigs will be announced. It's a given that they'll be going down there, after the first of the year, but I haven't heard a peep. Being in LA, I'm especially interested in Mexico gigs. |

You and me both, I am already gonna be down there during that time, I wouldn't mind haning out a bit longer to see them. You going to the cali gigs?

Yep. I got Bowl tickets, and II tickets today. Hope to get better ones to the latter later this week.
I need a good excuse to get down to Mexico, and Rio, etc. I just would like to map out a schedule. I'm sure we'll be hearing something very soon.
The big question is, how long will they take a break and when? I'm guessing in early Jan., before heading back out to South America, and possibly America again. No Florida shows so far btw.
Who knows? A lot probably depends on the response of the early shows in North America, which is promising to start. The East Coast gigs rocked. Hopefully we can keep it going here. I'm just a little surprised the H-Bowl show isn't sold out. Likewise SF, Sea, Pho. But, like Boston and Philly, I'm sure they're close to capacity and will likely sell out the week of. Hopefully.

hell yeah, Oasis in MEXICO!!
I had to go all the way to chicago just to see the boys live (I'm in no way complaining as the gig was just awesome). I'm also going to Phoenix, and I'm 99.9% sure I'll be in Las Vegas too.

maybe they'll hit south america on the way back from australia. but i would think it would be in jan or feb. it would be crazy to jam that in between aussie and cardiff. or maybe october, but i would think they'd goto south america in the summer. october is still winter down there. i still think we might see some more u.s. dates in october. or that might be a break for them, which they'll have to take at some point.
noel said on a webcast interview with gary crowley that they'd tour until next march, so it stands to reason that they'd hit a place they haven't been before march.

october? maybe, but I'm not sure.
As of right now their last US date is October 2nd in NY. Then on the 20th they start an european tour. So that's 18 days in between. I think that's enough for them to play one date in Mexico City, fly to Argentina and play 1 or 2 dates, then play another 2 in Brazil. So that's 4 or 5 gigs in 18 days. More than enough time left for them to fly to Germnay and play on october 20th.
I don't think they plan to do nothing for those 18 days, I'm sure they'll add some dates ini between, but I don't think it'll be latinamerica. The best chance for us is still January or February 2006.
EDIT: After reading what brumoscardo wrote, maybe they could do that, play Mexico in october, then south america in january or february

I don't know why but I'm pretty sure they are going to argentina and brazil, but for some reason I'm not so sure about Mexico, but I sure want them to come. I already saw them in chicago, and I'm going to Las Vegas and Phoenix. I wouldn't mind adding Mexico City to that list  |

Noel has said already that he expects them to goto Brazil and that their Mexico gigs have been great in the past. So I'm assuming they'll make both places. I seem to remember Gem saying something about Buenos Aires. That would be cool.
