i was wondering if anyone here has been trying to promote oasis... and if so what have been doing?
i remeber on the official site about 3 months before DBTT came out some one was talking about how he was gonna print out hunderes of fliers with the oasis logo on them and posting them on trees and stuff all throught his town.
i haven't done anything like that, but i came up with another way. if you have aol you can seach for a key word under interests i think. i decided to seach coldplay and jet. i added a whole bunch of the names that came up to my buddy list and have been IMing them each one of a time. so far all of them hae heard of oasis but haven't bought DBTT (most of them heard of them cos jet and coldplay's association with oasis) well i just tell them how chris martin loves them and has even said that he thinks noel is a better song writer than him (in the mojo one called 'kings of british rock reborn'). and i also told the jet fans that they were opening for oasis.
well i just told all of them that they should go buy DBTT cos it was a great album. i still haven't IMed all the names i've taken down. also on aim you can seach under interests and search 'rock'... i'm also trying to IM these people too
just trying to do my part to promote oasis in america... has anyone else done anything similar?

constantly e mail stations to play them...talk up this site when i am abroad,,played 5 tunes off DBTT before they were released in about 20 bars i bounced in to get the music out...alot of people here WEBBY MOST OF ALL does there part

I dont htink there is a person in Astoria NY who hasnt seen me wearing an Oasis shirt, talkign about Oasis or playing Oasis in my car.  |

If you haven't heard of or know of Oasis by now, you don't deserve my effort to try and make you a fan.
