Just received this info from concert promoter  The band is confirmed to play at richmond county ballpark on staten island on october 2nd. Ticket informatoin and complete list of support will be announced in the coming days. |

That's great! The Staten Island one is a better venue anyways...Holds about 1000 less but the layout is much better...I can see it now...A Staten Island Ferry full of madferit drunken fans singing Oasis tunes! Can't wait!!

This is gonna be rockin!
Too bad the 2 towers aren't standing anymore, it'd be sweet to have that as a backdrop at the stadium with Oasis playing in front of them.
That view from that ballpark pre-9/11 was phenomenal! I mean it still is, but it's got an obvious hole.
Either way I'm so pumped.

Looks like it...Im actually not too happy that it seems like Oasis will be on the same night as Beck coz then that means that The Killers will headline with The Pixies the night b4....I kinda wanted to only buy 1 ticket. |

i know what u mean mate..i am trying to save up myself so i can hit either belfast or cardiff the mamchester trip really hit my wallett, i wanna go back 4 those gigs but dont know if i can afford it  |

i know what u mean mate..i am trying to save up myself so i can hit either belfast or cardiff the mamchester trip really hit my wallett, i wanna go back 4 those gigs but dont know if i can afford it great if you could make the cardiff trip man, you could stay at my place if you wanted, 40 miles from cardiff. the thought of missing the statten island gig is almost too much to bear. i'll have to do a bottle of jd on the day to numb the pain  |

How is this going to work? ARe only Oasis going to play that night? Or are Beck/Pixies/anyone going to be supporting them. Because when I first read it I thought that's how it'd probably be
