OASIS FIRM UP NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
OASIS have announced an autumn tour of America and Canada.
The band, who have confirmed massive UK and Ireland shows for the end of the year, will head back to the States in September, following some of their biggest ever US shows earlier this year – including one at New York’s Madison Square Garden in June.
Oasis’ full North American tour now includes:
Vancouver General Motors Place (September 8)
Seattle Everett Event Center (9)
San Francisco Shoreline Amphitheatre (11)
Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl (12)
San Diego Coors Amphitheater (14)
Las Vegas House of Blues (15)
Phoenix Dodge Theater (18)

Dallas Smirnoff Music Center (22)
Austin City Limits Festival (24)
Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (25)
Atlanta HiFi Buys Amphitheater (27)
Baltimore Merriweather Post Pavilion (29)

dude, now I am going to Merriweather Post Pavillion in sept. real close to my place.. BUT I NEED TO GO TO 1.) Hollywood bowl (probly a bunch of vaginas there but..) 2.) Red Rocks 3.) vegas baby !  YOU DON;t UNDERSTAND, I WILL MEET NOEL GALLGHER one day ! I don;t care if I have to stalk him in england.. I know where he eats etc. (the Ivy, etc.) and where he lives... HE WILL kiss me too. I know it. ONE day you will hear the #1 UK single "I wanna be married with children TO TAM", or after one nite in my bed "Roll with Tam" or "supersonic x 1000 !) TRUST ME> I am gonna think about this... Tickets schmickets... It my school calendar/work that is interfering with my OASIS ! adulthood can suck !  |

Well, not crushed exactly; I'm just disappointed they're not coming to Indianapolis. I've seen them at every Indianapolis stop, including their first time through, in March '95, when Liam walked off stage 5 songs into the set because he got hit by a plastic cup and the rest of the band followed. They were there a year later, when Morning Glory was at its peak, and the place was sold out, and no one threw anything. Then, I saw them there on the SOTSG tour, then with the Black Crows. They were supposed to come through on the Heathen Chemistry tour (in August, 2002), but supposedly while in Indy the taxi Noel was in got in an accident and he was too injured to perform, so they had to cancel the gig — that was their story, anyway.

the accident really did occur, the philly 2002 was cancelled because of that too, and then a week later Noel was clearly still in pain when they played Little By Little on Conan Obrien

GM Place in Vancouver is an arena. Capacity for a concert isabout 19-20,000. But Judging by the seating chart they've chopped the arena in half. More than likely 12,000 seats. A majority of the rest of the tour with the exception of Seattle are ampitheatres that seat 16-19,000 people.
