Well, for whatever its worth, I heard Let There Be Love on a station on Long Island/NY, 107.1. I've never really listened to that station much, I think they're kind of lite fm/adult contemporary which kind of creeped me out. I was actually more creeped out that I was flipping stations and said "Aright, I'll put up with Look What You've Done since it's the end of the song" and then I heard Liam singing "Let There Be Love"...very disturbing.

There's nothing wrong with those types of stations. They are the most likely US stations to play Oasis.

There is everything wrong with those kinds of stations. Now, if I were to hear Oasis on a classic rock radiostation that didn't have the same 48 songs on rotation... now that would be proper.

Your never going to hear Oasis on new rock stations. Intead you'll hear such amazing talents as My Chemichal Romance and Seether.

Who cares about radio anyway? CD players + CD writers = radio is useless.

Yeah, but sometimes it is nice to hear a "seemingly" random group of songs (we all know its not very random) on the radio on a road trip as opposed to the same 20 cds over and over, thus the rise of iPods.

Perhaps its because the majority of people on here tend to be American as opposed to the Brits that make up the majority of AMO? I dunno, maybe someone could explain it to me?

It takes awhile to get used to the humor here. oasis fans fucking have that I think ! Peace and LOve tam

ahem, my apologies, it just seems a little more balanced than AMO, to put it politely. you cant imagine how many ideological arguements occur on AMO simply based on what side of the pond you're from. quite disheartening!

alt.music.oasis... its the oasis newsgroup in usenet..longest standing oasis "forum" of sorts. only a few of us at this point have been around since the mid/late 90s..theres a few regulars who start out with a lot of useful stuff to add, then they just get full of themselves and put down others for not getting their inside jokes, and theres a requisite US vs BRIT fight every 2 months regarding anything from americans not "getting" oasis to foreign policy to american english versus british english.

no no, i've got no problem with this forum at all..its AMO i have a problem with because they make such a point about whether or not someones american or british there in just about every thread, whereas here i get the impression it doesn't matter and that there are more americans than brits here, which might explain it!
