Hi.... OASIS WERE HOT - US fans were not ! ? I don't mean to be a prick or anything.. but when I was at MSG NYC I saw some things that really brought me down... 1st off, I conned my way from the 300 level to 100 level. Busted by security yadda yadda yaddaa..I was fucking going apeshit over noel and Liam ! Complete meldown almost ! anway, the fans on the floor were TOP ! No arguement... however, where I was sitting, here is what I saw : 1.) fans SITTING ?? 2.) girls on the cells looking at pictures - NOT related to the show... 3.) one girl complained to me that she paid good money and she was dissapointed , not enuff songs.. I fucking BIT my tongue and said - "I am sorry you feel this way, but tonite has nothing to do with money - for me ! I just FEEL THIS ! " Have a listen... 4.) People thought I was nuts screaming to Noel ? I KNOW he heard me - He was looking around to localize the voice... but perplexed perhaps coz of all the sitters.. 5.) VERY FEW PPL into the new songs ! I wanted to hear em all ! I thought MF, LLAB etc were INCREDIBLE ? they were all waiting for champagne supernova and wonderwall. then they stood up ? fuck ? 6.) the worst - some football chants on the way out - from Ukers no doubt. OK KALAS CAP LOCKS..lots of fun and unity vibe... ONE BLOKE , AMERICAN TWAT, SAID, C'MON THIS IS NOT A PEP RALLY ?I cld not keep my trap shut ! I turned around, stopped the flow of ppl, and said "THE FUCK IT AINT' ?" SHOW SOME RESPECT MATE ! "NO reply on his end. WELL I have banged on... we all know this shit. it juts bothered me. I know some may have a counterpoint. Fine... I know I shld think - well what do you expect Tam but... I just dont get it. I know that oasis mean MUCH more in the UK etc. for obvious reasons....Whole sep. thread there.. In closing, I hope the other americans have a different experience for the upcoming west coast shows this fall... I do. that hollywood bowl show shld be HOT ! I look fwd to Merriweather Post Pavillion. Peace and LOve Tam

Where i was standing, floor sec 5 row A, everyone around me was really going for it.
Zunoasis sent me a pm to say that he could see me from where his seat was and he could see me going nuts for the whole gig !!!! ;D
However, i can only speak on behalf of the MSG show cos thats the only american one ive been to but it was definitely more sedate than the UK gigs.

That's how I felt at the Mansified Mass show. I was in the first row in the second section back. I was going crazy and everyone was looking at me like I was nuts. MSG, luckily I was in section 1 on the floor and Philly I was up front. But Boston was all 13 year old girls. The amount of people walking out before the encore was incredible, and they were all mumbling about how pissed they were that the band didn't play Wonderwall. I hope they felt stupid when they heard it from the parking lot. By the way my voice still hasn't recovered from those 3 shows. Can't wait for Maryland!

I'd love to go back to the states to see my boys again. MSG really was a dream come true for me...........
I was nagging my husband to take me to the Vegas show but he said there was no way and i didnt think so either. However, he told me tonight that he was planning to take me but now he has to buy a new vehicle for his business so there is definitely NO chance of going now.........
I thought he was joking but he said to me, "phone pete and ask him " Pete is his best friend so i called him and he confirmed that it was all true and i was supposed to be going and Pete was coming too !!!!!!!!!!!
I shouldnt complain cos i am lucky............

Tam...All Im sayin is from where I was standing at MSG (front row infront of Gem & Andy), we were all going apeshit! My seats were originally Section 4 Row 10 but I conned my way to front row by pleading with an usher that I couldnt see anything from 10th row. Well, he bought it and I was hangin by the railing the entire time. U and I need to coordinate getting our tix together next time they come to NYC...I never disappoint! Ha! Ha! Moi Front Row At MSG:

sitting at an oasis gig..whats that all about dont get me wrong i loved the msg show but to truly appreciate an oasis gig you need an open floor policy ;D i dont mind if other people want to sit thats their choice but i was brought up on the terraces (like many uk oasis fans) and you will always get a better atmos with people standing/jumping etc all hail the terrace dandies!!!!

The majority of Americans have only heard Wonderwall and Supernova. Which is a shame obviously.
Besides, what morons leave before the encore? Bands ALWAYS save thier most popular songs till the encore.
BTW- Does anyone know if they're planning on playing another show in Toronto or making a swing up the east coast?
