A 28-year-old fan who travelled from Devon to see Oasis play at the National Bowl was robbed at knifepoint.
The man was walking along the H7 Chaffron Way just before 1am on Saturday when he saw two men walking towards him.
He thought they were acting suspiciously so he walked down the embankment to avoid them.
One of the men followed him and demanded he hand over his mobile phone and threatened to stab him.
The victim ran off but dropped his black rucksack, which the mugger picked up.
Police would like to hear from two people in a tent who helped the man after he sought refuge.

Some stories are messed up you even hear of people getting killed for the most stupid shit, like once a pensioner in Newcastle was killed for a fish supper. Shocking.

There were some "dodgy looking" people at Milton Keynes although half of them just seemed more drunk than threatening. The crowd-control was much better than at previous gigs and I didn't see any real trouble.

It's a shame stuff like people getting mugged happens at an oasis gig but it probably is just as likely to happen walking down the street these days!
