I personally didn't think it went away really. But the Manchester broadcasted gig that I download I thought his voice was right on the whole concert. He sometimes runs out of breath in some songs in the past, but on that bootleg he didn't run out of breath at all. I think this tour is making his vocal chords stronger after every show.

Liam's voice on this tour is definitely much better than it was on the Heathen Chemistry tour.

Meh. It's not that improved. I still would friggin have tears of joy if he came on and sounded like he did in 94-98

I would say it's definitely improved since 2000. I am upset to say that sometimes listenning to FTM hurts my ears at a few places. He voice lost a lot of sustanance.
However, since HC, Liam's gotten a lot stronger.
But in response to Shortdude..... his voice was a lot different back then, but I wouldn't necessarily say it was better. Considering Oasis' changing sound, his voice suits the music and lets the tunes really go.

AMEN! There is no way he has sounded any better since 98 than he did at Milton Keynes! He had a shaky start to the DBTT tour but he has slowly got it together and I am usually heavily critical especially on tracks like Champagne Supernova and Lyla but he did a good job on both when I saw him.

i agree, he has improved over the time of this tour...at the beginning it was like he was doing the fucking breaststroke...he's got some more wind now and it shows in the improvement of his singing

He still has that froggy/slurred strain. Listen to Live Forever on the Manchester boot. His voice bothers me especially at this stage on tracks like Won't Let you Down. Too much whiney strain stuff going on there...
