Wonderful gig, great atmosphere. Probably the hottest gig I've ever experienced - it was absolutely baking. Enjoyed the two support acts, especially the first band who's name I didn't catch, The Rolls or something.
Live Forever was special, dedicated to London, the crowd sang the whole first verse and chorus with Zak just repeating the opening bars on the drums before the band and Liam started the song.
As well as the usual big singalongs Turn Up The Sun, Songbird, Mucky Fingers and Little By Little were very well recieved. Always amazes me does Little By Little - I think it's a real dirge on record, but it comes to life live and rivals DLBIA for singalongability (is that a word? who cares!)
All in all, superb gig, Liam seemed to be really enjoying himself. As he said at the end "You were the bollocks - as usual!"

Was my first ever Oasis gig, thought it was absolutely amazing, loved every minute of it. Thought the Lull and Redwalls were good. It was like being in a sauna though took shirt off after turn up the sun and it was off till i got out of the taxi at the bar. Must have lost a couple of pounds from the sweat.
Thought all the songs were great cant go through all of them. Live forever was great with the crowd singing along at the start, Morning Glory then C&A really got the crowd going. Aquiesce, CS and DLBIA were my other 10/10 from the night, everything else got a 9.5/10.
Some1 threw up right near us, proper projectile spew, felt quite bad watching all the other ppl walk through it.
Felt quite special when Liam dedicated ABWR to me ;0)

sounds like i good gig im well pissed of i had to work and tonight again and miss them considering i live about 15 minutes away from the place!! still never mind saw them twice in manchester ;D oh heres a little report form one of our local papes Oasis in fine form as they swagger into north-east by Sam Strangeways THE Gallagher brothers were in fine fettle last night as they performed the first of two sell-out Oasis concerts at Newcastle. The mega-selling Manchester band opened the gig with Turn up the Sun, from the band's new album Don't Believe the Truth. Lead singer Liam, wearing a floppy hat and shades inside the packed-out venue on the banks of the River Tyne, displayed his usual swagger. A fan said: "He kept putting his tambourine in his mouth and balancing it on his head. "He was showing his usual attitude and really playing up to the audience." Recent number one single Lyla received a rapturous response from the thousands of fans present, as did Bring It On Down, from 1994's Definitely Maybe album. "The atmosphere was great; there were a few bras thrown on stage," added the fan. "The crowd was buzzing." Oasis play the 11,250-capacity venue again tonight. Mad for it: Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher strikes a pose during the concert at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle
