from www.timesonline.co.uk...By contrast the latest Oasis album, Don’t Believe The Truth, is heading towards one million UK sales and the band sold 407,000 tickets inside two hours for the UK tour, which will gross £13.3 million.

one million in UK ?? that indeed is amazing. i guess worldwide figures are plus 60 to 70 % released end of may (=june) and 1 mio by july is strong. let's see what happens when single #2 enters the arena. i havent got appropriate figures of HC but DBTT must have sold more in the same timecourse

i think it'll have a good few more to sell yet before the million mark
if you consider the fact that X&Y has only sold 991,954 and thats been at number one for the past 6 weeks!

Thats what I thought, but it could have, simply because I don't think online sales are taken into account on the Uk chart listings. Could be wrong and probably am. I must be the only person genuinely let down by Coldplay. I loved the last 2 records but no way am I buying this, it makes Be Here Now sound like a musical revolution! X & Y isn't just similar to A Rush of Blood, its exactly the bleeding same, and people have the cheek to say oasis don't progress musically! Coldplay lazy gobshites. ;D
