When the new songs were played, i didn't have a fuckin clue what to do. Turn Up The Sun and Lyla you can jump around to and what a sing-along chorus Lyla has but as for the rest of them, i was stumped.
What's a man supposed to do when the importance of being idle kicks in, you can't jump around to it and them high notes are impossible yet its still a superb tune.
Even with this kind of lost feeling, as a 17 year old from birmingham that day was the best day of my life. Just ma and a mate gettin pissed all day, all night and all morning. The atmosphere for the classics was electric and knobs chuckin piss around couldnt dampen my spirit. I was back in brum for a bout 7am not falling asleep on the coach as my mate was K.O'd and we would have woken up in Penzance if i had fallen to sleep aswell.
Just like to say thanks to the oasis boys for the best day of youngish life!

I know what you mean... It's nice for a change from the anthems to just stop and listen for a bit though, don't you think?

I know exactly what you mean. First 5 songs everyone jumps up and down...then Noel comes on and nobodys sure if you clip, jump, sit and admire the music or what. Still su0perb though, and i quite liked being able to listen to them for a bit, rathet than the crowd!
I suppose its how the set list gets done...if its done correctly...we can jump for ages...then listen for a bit. I think they got the balance right.

Maybe it's my youth, or the adrenalin rushing through me, but i was up for jumping around all night.
I just felt them songs such as Guess God Thinks I'm Abel just killed the atmosphere and wern't really suited for a 60,000 people stadium gig.
Another thing i don't understand is why can't they play Let There Be Love live, its a classic and maybe playing that song at a stadium would have gone down better
