All in all a pretty top gig. Support acts were generally allright, The Redwalls were decent, the 22-20s were pretty good, The Bees were shite and The Coral were fantastic and got the crowd going with Pass It On, Bill McCai etc, and the place went mental when they played Dreaming of You. Good idea to show some footage from Live8, U2 got a decent reaction, great singalong to Bittersweet Symphony and Local Boy In The Photograph, and brilliant when Coldplay got booed. The early problems have probably got around now, they came on, and before Turn Up The Sun really got going the barrier came down and they had to stop playing, and I thought "fuck" so the next half an hour was spent with birds getting their tits out (how many slappers can ya get in one concert ) before the barrier finally got back up. The band raced through Turn Up The Sun, Lyla really got the crowd going with a great singalong, I'm not a huge fan of the song but its a top drawer live song! After that Noel said something to the crowd, Liam told him to "cut out the shakespeare" or something and they had an erm, heated discussion which ended with Liam putting his face into Noels, although not quite reaching a headbut. After that I don't remember Noel really saying anything, and he didn't provide backing vocals on Morning Glory, although the crowd were more than capable! Cigs and Alchohol was the usual great rocky singalong, The Importance of Being Idle was more noticeable for the quotes on the screen than anything as Noel struggled with the high notes as did the crowd, Little by Little followed, with one of the early great crowd singalongs proving one of the highlights of the night, another great live song. Liam was back for the next four songs, a great version of Acquiesce, a good display of A Bell Will Ring and a Noel-less version of Songbird. Live Forever really got the crowd going again as it always does and always will, and Mucky Fingers was another crowd pleaser. Wonderwall was performed brilliantly, with the whole crowd singing in sync and drowning out Liam's vocals, which for me were as good as they have been for quite a while, it might sound shit on the bootleg but he's still got it as far as I'm concerned. Champagne Supernova provided a great singalong, and Rock n Roll Star was packed with the energy which has typified Oasis for so long. As for the encore, Guess God Thinks I'm Abel and Meaning of the Soul got a fairly muted reaction from the crowd as a whole but the next song, Don't Look Back in Anger, was as always, a wonderful live song and a true highlight of the night. The set as always closed with a good, energetic run through My Generation, and then it was homeward bound. All in all, a really great Oasis gig that had it all. Starts with problems, more tits than a bird sanctuary, huge Noel & Liam row and 19 classic Oasis tunes which wowed the crowd. Fantastic stuff!

Meaning of Soul was a true highlight for me last night, it was rocking, although I agree most people didnt get into the spirit of it.
I was one of the few within site singing along and jumping around to it, gathering funny looks from the others.

wow wee, the whole day in manchester blew me a-fucking-way. I thought Noel n Liam were on top form and really nice to us lot - "top crowd tonight" - Liam. "you might not care but you're our fans and we do" - Noel on the barrier getting a crack in it, "noddy barriers" it was mental down the front and often quite savage. i never thought i'd survive! got a good view for most of it though, especially the Coral who were also on top form. "Pass it On" was my highlight off them. The Redwalls were also decent and have a good sound to them, a few good lookers too the 22:20's and the Bees didn't do much for me....that instrumental was way too long. My highlights of the day were...Liam and Noel's bickering, clearly proved to me that these brothers do a lot of exaggerating when it comes to their disagreements. It was quite clear from last night the band perform brilliantly together. Starkey on drums! this guy is amazing, we need to try and keep hold of him!! Best songs for me were, Turn up the sun, Champagne Supernove and My Generation- what a way to end a fantastic, breath-taking gig. the whole day confirmed to me one thing...that Oasis are the best band in the world and have not lost anything as far as looks go, music goes and talent goes! liam looked very cool in a red leather jacket, white liam hat, and big shades. These guys can never have too much praise or support! Bring on V ;D;D;D;D

A lot of easy mingers getting there tits out til the tunes started. Then i thought id go back to the front and people were fallin over like dominos so i went back again n was stood next a very very fit blond girl in a union jack bikini -i was impressed!! top gig -champagne supernova was really great but to be honest it was all shit hot!!

I was loving it, I was in the mental scrummage for about 2 hours or something. It was way wilder than the last time I saw oasis (manchester LCCC 2002), I got out of it after the coral played because I was getting totally nackered just trying to keep standing up. Then when I went back into the crowd after getting a drink some fucking nobhead scouser tried to start on me. Whatever, good times. The concert was brilliant.
