Today, I got into my car and as soon as the radio turned on, Wonderwall was playing. I thought it was great to hear Oasis in the state of Florida, but something bothered me. They are playing a song from ten years ago when they should be playing the new material which is great.
So I called up the DJ and asked him to play Keep The Dream Alive. He said that it would have to wait until the end of the hour since they just played Wonderwall. He played Mariah Carey's horrible, new song twice at the end of the hour, but no KTDA! Total disrespect people!
This station is the only non-country radio station that we can get at the University of Florida, which is the largest university in South East U.S. There are over 50,000 students that should be or become Oasis listeners.
The request line for this station is 352-331-1080. It would be great if those of you with cell phones in the U.S. could give this clown a few phone calls and request new Oasis songs. KTDA, LTBL, whatever.
I think this is a good opportunity to promote the band. I assume most of us wouldn't mind if Oasis was massive again in the U.S. Keep the Dream Alive.
