really good gig, sound was a bit low for about 20 seconds into Turn Up The Sun but Liam told them to turn up the beef and they did so all was cool. Songbird was great live I thought and Lyla was amazing. Here's the setlist

Liam sounded great, vocals where nice and loud. The crowd were into it singing along to most of the songs. I've got a dozen small clips (video) of some of the songs they played. It was a great night!

as far as I can remember it wasn't played acoustically but at the time I was more concerned about getting away from this guy next to me who thought this would be a good time to get his cock out and piss in a bottle, I was like trying to push my way through the crowd to get away from him

I'd love to be writin about how great the boys sounded. I'd love to be writin about how the whole crowd sang Live forever with just the drums for accompanyment, and how Liam pointed out poor Zak was knackered tryin to keep up....
However the Hampden securtiy was fuckin rubbish so there was glass all over the floor and i wasn't the only one I saw pullin inch long shards of glass from my foot. Oh yeah, and because I asked a guy not to throw himself of a mates shoulders onto a girl beside me, he punched me. It was one of the most loutish loud mouthed piss poor crowds i've seen, there was at least 3 full on fist fights that i could see. And let me point out this was not even close the the majority but the vaginas shoutin "Oasis Oasis" straight through all the support some of payed good money to see. Bein a fan is one thing, being a lout is another.
Oh yeah, the redwalls were good too.

Liam was real samrt actually. Black pinstripe jacket, Black shirt with the top couple of buttons undone really dark blue jeans and a cool floppy black hat like toddlers wear when they're out in the sun! ;D

There was a guy who was looking drunk, stoned and yellow and I kept thinging he was gonna spew on my shoes, but was only bending down to pick up his hat all the time. It was harsh on the Super Furries as they were the best support band, but got the most abuse from the crowd. |

Looks like the Police were to busy stopping people drinking in the car park to stop people just walking in with crates of beer. ;D The gig was amazing though, never seen Liam smiling so much during a gig. How good was Live Forever and DLBIA? Couldnt believe what I was seeing when Noel was standing in front of Zak playing his guitar practically vertical. He was fucking kissing the sky man ;D Never seen him so animated like that either. I was gonna take loads of pics but I was fucking legless by the time I even got to Glasgow so that never really worked out ;D But here is one I got during Rock N Roll Star  This is my mates Tommy and Euroboy in the pub before the gig ;D  Here is one of Hampden when we just got in  Super Furry Animals  Not great pics, but there you go. what do the lights on stage say? It was different images during each song dom. that one during rock n roll star, it was like a fruit machine each letter was spinning around and changing, it was really cool. The graphics during TIOBI were funny as fuck ;D |

Nah, pretty shit. The Redwalls were though. Stands were good but they dragged out their songs a bit much. The Importance of Being Idle graphics pretty much sums up my life at the moment, my dad says I could get a job, and I say that I'll get round to it then end up sleeping until noon. |

Well, Oasis were amazing but i had a shit night, you can look at my thread for details if you want cos i cant be arsed typing it in again !!!
Liam was VERY smartly dressed, it was the best i had seen him for years.
Security was a fucking disgrace, i know this is an anorak thing to do but i am going to email them to complain, i had a ruined night thanks to them.
And IMOBI images were brilliant too !!!
