"The US tour continues on Friday at the Boston Tweeter Center, which will be Oasis biggest ever US show to almost 20,000 fans" I actually never realized there could potentially be that many people there. It seems to have snuck under the radar with MSG and Toronto. Hopefully there's no letdown following Wednesday show

Does anyone know which is bigger; tweeter or MSG?

Yeah, i think it's 22,000 normally for sporting events, but for shows they knock off a big section behind the stage - probably around 16-18 thousand were there.

i think its more the prestige of playing madison square garden rather than the amount of people itself.

true, lyla, but there's something about the fact that they are headlining a show at the tweeter center, an outdoor venue, for 20,000 people. A good 7 to 8 thousand of those seats have to be lawn seats, which means there is a strong demand to see them in Massachusetts/New England...makes sense since Oasis has kind of a cult college following from people who grew up with them (at least they did a few years ago when I was in college). There are so many schools in the area and lots of people stay here for the summer or are from the area that they'd buy tix to see the show, which I think is great...20,000, wow; they should try a Knebworth here next... Jk

they have played tweeter center before, but it was co-headlined with the Crowes in 2001...and, uh, Spacehog opened...
