apparently noel told someone they're gonna try to add a few smaller ny shows when they come back. i'm betting the reason they left october open on their agenda is so they can decide whether to add any more US shows based on the reception of the album at that point.

I'd guess the US dates in Oct. are rather solid at this point, I can see them adding maybe a NYC or Boston but thats it... I really think they'll either take that time off or go to South America which is most logical...

I could see them doing one or 2 in very early October. Since they'll be back on the East coast in Baltimore and then in Ohio. Lets take on Giants Stadium! Screw the small gigs.

it would be awesome if they started to play even bigger venues... they claim the US dates were sellouts but you could still get tickets to half of them...

They always open up seats to events. I just checked Mansfield and that is completely sold out. Even the lawn is all gone. Venues like MSG always open seats behind the stage and once the stage is set up other seats open up. U2 was sold out in 30seconds but from time totime Ticketmaster released a handful of tickets.

no, not that... i mean it was never truly sold out to where you couldnt get tickets side by side... outside of the NYC gig tickets were available in pairs or more to every N.A. gig from the time they went on sale up to the show time...

Dude that's not true. Maybe off Ebay, but not from Ticketmaster. Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and Philly were all sold out. The Spetember tour has tickets available, but mostly lawn standing tickets.

Philly and NYC were 100% sold out before lunch the 1st day. MSG opened up tickets later in "no view" area's due to Ignitions request thanks to demand. There are ALWAYS blocks of seats sold and given to corporations and VIPS and those make their way out as well as via ticket touts and private resellers.
Still, these shows are the largest non-festival shows Oasis has played since their 98 BHN tour.

Still, these shows are the largest non-festival shows Oasis has played since their 98 BHN tour. I was at the Continental Airlines Arena (NJ) for the BHN Tour in 98 and that venue sucked! We had floor seats but it wasn't that close to the stage...U could barely see the band and the opening act (Cornershop) was boring as hell. I prefer smaller venues over arenas...It feels more intimate and u can definitely rock out more.

I definitely think they should come back to NYC and Toronto in the fall.

I remember feeling so far away from the band - that was my first concert ever, I was 14 and I was like "This is it?" Musically it was fine, but the arena didn't fit Oasis. Roseland to me was my favorite place to see them - so small and you can get right up close. It was nice. Shea would be heaven - I'm a Mets fan. To see them at MSG and then Shea would be a dream come true.

Noel acoustic set...None of my friends who have seen Oasis have ever seen a Noelie G solo acoustic set - I'm the special one of the bunch! Haha ;D
