Well, I went to the gig in Chicago last night, and they blew my fucking head off!!!!
let me inform you that this was the first ever time seeing Oasis, I had to drive from St. Louis to get there...not that big a deal.
I enjoyed Nic Armstrong, I liked Jet but when Oasis took the floor I went bezerk!!!
When Liam announced "Morning Glory" I started going mad considering this is the first time I will be hearing it live! This guy in front of me turned around and said "Keep your voice down!"...I said "What? Are you kidding me its a concert!"
So i descide to get louder than ever and all of a sudden he walks up to my row and grabs me by the neck and says, "Im gonna kick your ass if you keep yelling" by this time my friend Dave sees whats happening and before any type of fight breaks out security is called over to stop it. I wasnt even yelling in his ear or something...weird
I didnt want to fight because I didnt wanna get tossed out especially after spending $50 bucks and never seeing Oasis before!
all in all besides that vagina it was a great show....and dont worry I got extra loud the rest of the show
mad fet it!!!!

thats the weird thing, he wasnt even a fan of anything...he only knew like 2 songs by Oasis...but his friends who were actually cool must of had an extra ticket and were forced to bring that fuck to the show...

omg i can't believe that, its a concert for god sake ya know, ya there to sing at the top of ya voice and have a top time. wot planet was that geezer on anyways.
glad ya had a top time besides that geezer.
i remember when i saw oasis at poole and this girl kepted giving me strange looks when i started singing to the songs (i know i don;t have the best voice in the world but still ;D), i just sung even louder just to annoy her, i mean ya at a gig thats wot ya do, ya there to have a top time, thats wot music is there for is'nt it, to be enjoyed.

Not to speak out against you or anything, but sometimes when people do sing at shows it gets really annoying. I'm all for singing along to the tunes and have a great time, but sometimes people sing so loud that i can't even hear the band. when it gets to that stage, it does get very annoying, however i'm not one to make the call as to how loud you were.

i was on the floor and there was a ton of dick heads down there, if youd just barely bump them theyd wanna fight. one in particular was a douche who was tall, had a white trash gotee and kind long curly hair, tried fighting with me and like 10 others for getting pushed into his back. then in the parking ramp he saw me and called me a fag under his breath when he walked by. i wish i could be there sometime when the dick mouths off to the wrong person and he gets killed.
anyone else have issues on the floor?

that sucks man...I saw something happen sort of like that at a supergrass show.
there were these two old crazy hippies dancing around, and they knocked into this girl and started shouting at her, teling her to look out, and then the old hag hippy tried to scratch the girl across the face...she couldve gouged her eye out. luckily security threw the vaginas out.

I was at this gig too. The crowd was lame. I was in the top balcony with some friends, all standing up singing along at the top of the lungs for at least half the set, (and when I wasn't I was filling my coke w/ Jack D's.  ) Anyway, it was so fucking proper at the gig. People all sitting looking like they were at a movie theatre. Even the main floor was tame, no pogoing, moving around, fist pumping, anything... really weak....I'm ashamed, I remember seeing the DVD Live by the Sea and the atmosphere and the crowd's involvement and thinking, "That is how an Oasis concert should fucking be" Well this show was as far from that as possible. As Ian Brown always said, the crowd is the star/catalyst for live shows, they are what make it memorable and uplifting. |

I'm afraid UIC Pavillion sounds like a lame venue. No alchohol or cigs. I'm surprised Oasis and Jet agreed to play there with that policy. I feel the same way bout gigs as most on here, u are there to have a great time so if it is screaming at the top of your lungs so be it. I would have your back Stlfan, I hate beermuscle pricks like that
P.S. Hey its good to know there is another oasis fan in st. louis. I'm from there but couldn't make the gig. Too far and expensive right now for me.

people in north america are stupid like that, at the TO gig someone threw a beer at me and spilled another on one of my friends, that was the worst part everything else was fucking amazing, glad you at least had a good time though At least you didn't catch Liam's tambourine, only to have some dick knock you out and then a riot ensue. Which is what happened to me in T.O. That sucks, I actually feel really sorry for you |

You should try one of the british stadium gigs! You don't get pints of beer thrown at you, you get pints of what appears when the mighty seal is finally broken (If you know what i mean).

Tell me about it! The USA shows sound tame compared to the UK stadium gigs. I have been to Wembley 2000 and Finsbury park 2002 gigs and both times I have come home very happy but covered with "mystery liquids", got hit in the head a few times with plastic cups, shoes got ruined and then had bruises appear the following days. Both times. Oh the Joys of the "moshpit"..  |
