Well bearski...we havent had time today to go down to ticketek....got exams on 2moro
But we are gonna try work it asap hopefully....would it be worth calling ticketek? Or just go down to the elizabeth st store?

Know the exam feeling. I've got my last one at 8.30am tomorrow. If you're not good at confrontation ring them, its easier to be pushy over the phone  This is how I'd attack the situation. Just explain the situation 1st calmly and politely and make sure they know that the problem most likely arose from the person who served you. Argue the fact that you asked for and were told they were front row/section tickets and you were not supplied that. They'll probably try and tell you they had already sold out at that point, before you tell them what time you bought your tix ask them what time that section sold out, only AFTER that present the receipt that says 9.07am. If it turns out that they sold out after you bought your tix and they say sorry we cant do anything about it tell them its not good enough and you want it rectified. I'm sure they can do it if they really want. I had a prob where I got tix through visa preferred (which guarantee great seats apparently). The tix I got were shite (up the back of the floor section) and they said sorry there's no better tix left. We argued the whole guaranteed great seats speel they promote and thay we could've got better tickets for cheaper through the normal channels.... magically 2 tickets in the 10th Row are suddenly available. A different situation to yours I know, but just dont accept the there's nothing better left excuse. Its free standing, 2 more wont hurt anyone. |

Yeah i got an exam 2moro morning at 8.30 as well...It simply not cool, gotta make so early!! Will most likely be at uni bar for jugs after...its a good incentive to do well in the exam lol

Depends. Check your receipt/confirmation. If it says Area VIPxx (which is the front of stage) you've got the good ones. oh no i just saw the seating map on ticketek eh, they should have had it at the arena all ga tix none of this vip shit, it would have been so much better there, i can't stand this vip crap it should be if you wanna go 3 hours early for front row then you get it, nova wankers.

Im afraid the same shite has happened to us 'nosurprises'!! I fckin hate Nova at the moment, but i think ticketek are to blame as well
Bearski we just went in to ticketek and try to get the vip (that we deserved) but no luck. They said to us that the vip tickets sold out at 9.20...so we said to them that " but we bought our tickets at 9.07 and the chick said these are front row", and they checked our receipt and apparently we bought them at 9.21...They were spinning shit to us so badly
It looks like we are just gonna have to jump over the barrier between ga and vip!! Its so not cool. Its just frustrating that ppl who arent as obsessed as we are, are goin to be in front of us!! Next time, the internet is the way to go

It's not on, how many vip tix went on sale to the public probebly about 40 all the rest will be b grade celebs and competition winners while the fans will be back in economy class, are the normal general admissions barrierd up into three sections as well?

The thing is mate, if front row isnt pumping, then liam and noel will probably become very disinterested...and the gig wont be that great. So we need more of us in the vip section so go crazy There is no barrier separating GA10, 11 and 12...So thats not too bad i spose. Just get there really early to get into the front in ga11...which is in the centre i think!! But still, we will be jumping over the barrier if necessary!!! |
