About 18 mths ago I downloaded a song called "Its a crime" , which I thought was an old B side. I bought DBTT yesterday and as soon as I heard LTBL I thought I'd heard the tune before. I went back and listened to "Its a crime" and lo & behold it's exactly the same tune with different lyrics in the verses. The chorus is exactly the same even the lyrics "let there be love".

What's going on?? I hope Noel isn't trying to put one over on us??

He was the Nazz with God given ass. Became the special man & we were Ziggy's band.

Yeah , well I said 18mths ago but it was actually more like 2 yrs or more, could've been even 3 yrs ago. Now that u said that it was leaked from the SOTSOG demos it all makes sense. The song is titled "It's a crime" and it sounds exactly the same as LTBL except that Noel sings it all & it's an acoustic. To be honest the lyrics are probably better than on the album version.

Noel spent 7 years writing that song and it wasn't on SOTSOG because he hated the lyrics on the demo and isn't really a fan of it nowadays from what i understand.

it was never called "it's a crime" that was just some name a person gave it when they uploaded the track on the net.

and yes i got the demo and i really like it but the first lines in the verses are not that good,.

Seeing as no one had mentioned this before I thought no one knew about it , guess I was wrong , very wrong!!

Just seems a bit strange that they would put a song that was leaked years ago on a new album. Don't get me wrong it's a brilliant song , could even be the next single but surely they could've recorded something new.

Don't forget, this song was never released anywhere, only leaked. In Noel's mind, it was still was an unreleased song and with the work done to it, managed to improve it a lot.
