And I think its the right choice too - I love TIOBI, but I think LTBL has more potential in the US (if radio stations will at least give it a shot!).

I will go on record right now to say that the TOP 40/POP STATIONS here in the US won't touch LTBL with a ten foot pole. Heck, the only stations that played Lyla were the Rock/Alternative/Adult Contemporary/Album Rock stations, and that song is WAY more catchy than LTBL.

I think LTBL is way better than Lyla, but it's got to be a xmas single, it's not a summer song, especially in the us I think it would not do good in the summer. Now if it comes out in xmas it will be nº1 world wide, sure thing.

that is an awesome cover... same theme as all the other DBTT releases way cool yeah i wasn't a huge fan of the art theme at the beginning but now I really love it, especially the Lyla cover which is retro beyond belief. This one looks fantastic as well

I wonder if there will be a separate video for Let There Be Love. There should be, just like CS and WDIAGW were US radio singles and had videos

not to rain on the parade, but it really is a cryin' shame that love like a bomb isn't AT LEAST the u.s. single or KTDA for crying out loud...can you get any more summery than LLAB?

people > that is a US radio "promo" single to be serviced to radio, and not neccesarily the next single proper. (these are limited in number and usually only get sent to major market stations to see if they bite and are NOT for sale to the general public) they do this with almost every album over here, check the list of these that I own :
DM : Rock & Roll Star (US Radio promo)
WTSMG : Morning glory (US radio promo) 1995, Champagne Supernova (US radio promo) 1996
BHN : I Hope I Think I Know (US radio promo) 1997
SOSOG : Where Did It All Go Wrong? (US radio promo)
The last two were sent to US Radio as well as the regular singles off those LPs to see if they caught on. (which they didn't...) I do not think this track will catch on US radio in any way shape or form.

Do US singles have their own b-sides?

yea so which video is that one where they were all dressed as the undertakers? I'm guessing let there be love.... you can just imagine a slow and sad film clip to go with a song like let there be love. I can't see a filmclip involving a funeral have anything to do with TIOBI

There has only ever been one proper US Single released over here for sale to consumers and that was 'Wonderwall', and yes it had proper b-sides but was rather more an EP than a CD single as it had 5 tracks overall. It reached no.8 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles here in 96 before being withrawn so as not to take away from LP sales. Everything else has been promo radio singles not for sale to consumers other than through collectors places, Ebay, etc...
*** Don't Look Back in Anger was released in the US as a two track CD Single but it was withdrawn after only one week.

The funeral video is for The Importance Of Being Idle, that has been confirmed. I'd fully expect a video to be shot for Let There Be Love, maybe it's already been done, maybe they're doing it over in North America.

Let There Be Love is a POOR choice for the US. I wish it was Love Like A Bomb I think that, A Bell Will Ring and ESPECIALLY Keep The Dream Alive were the best choices... i really think KTDA has alot of US potential
I have the DLBIA US single in a card sleeve, its actually a 3track single
