Sadly, I think that unless something DRASTIC happens to improve the trainwreck that is Liam's voice on this tour, I think that a few songs will become casulties due to a lack of ability by Liam to hit the high notes.
Namely:
I think that both Keep The Dream Alive and Let There Be Love were probably going to be added soon, but seriously, can anyone see Liam coming CLOSE to hitting the notes on those two songs? (I think that KTDA was a LOCK for the big stadium shows but now I think that Noel has to take a long hard look as to whether to even attempt it)
I also think that we are going to lose Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Champagne Supernova as well. That really takes the wind out of my sails as I board a train to MSG next week, thinking that either of those songs will not be played, those two (SCYHO and CS) were two of the ones I was looking forward to the most, but I would rather see Liam sing songs that are now within his range other than seeing him stand there and make a complete arse out of himself. Hate to say it, but CS is WAY out of his reach now... and a *PROPER* version of SCYHO, a song that he recorded with ease only three years ago, isn't even in the realm of possibility in my eyes.
With that being said, do you think that Noel could take over the vocals of a few of the songs? Such as SCYHO at Glasto, when Liam pissed off the stage at the end and Noel sand the chorous himself, I think that he could actually pull the whole song off himself... I remember hearing him do "She's Electric" at Finsbury Park, and it sounded SO FUCKING GOOD... also way back when he did "Cast No Shadow" on the MTV Unplugged I think it was the best damn version of that song I ever heard...
So do any of you guys and gals think that Noel taking over more of the vocals is an option? Cuz even if Liam loses his voice altogether, I just can't see an Oasis gig without CS, SCYHO, MG, LF, etc. etc.

First off... we dont know he recorded SCYHO out "with ease" there's alot of effects and filters he's put through to sound that good... thats obvious
Oddly I dont think he sounds that bad on I think Morning Glory may have to go... or be switched to later in the set after Noel has sung a few, it's just way too good of a song right now with Zak on drums and the amazing energy. Live Forever isnt going anywhere we know that.
I think they almost HAVE to keep playing Lyla which is why they havent dropped it. If Noel hates it THAT much he wouldnt have it in the set... but I think it's more a matter of they have to play the single.
If they keep on playing Lyla I think Noel should, and could EASILY sing it... listen to some bootlegs, sometimes its basically just Noel pulling that song through the chorus. I think the best bet on a number of song is switching chorus/verse.
Who knows whats wrong with Liam. I hope he'll get it together, I just dont believe that voice is totally gone. As for a Noel acoustic set...it wont happen, not now...

Good thoughts on Lyla hurricaneoasis, and well taken. They HAVE to keep on doing the single, and I'm sure that the fans want to keep hearing it as well, as it is a top song. Thing I just thought about is, with Liam's ego and all, would he take to Noel taking over some of the vocals? He'd probably say something to Noel like "well fine, I have been singing Champagne Supernova for YEARS man, it's MY song, you wrote it but it's MY FOOKING SONG, the people want to hear ME sing it, but fine if you want to sing it then sing every fookin song I ain't even going out there you vagina" he'd be pissed and understandably so. Put yourself in Liam's shoes, and think how you'd feel if Noel came to you and said "I'm taking half of the songs from you, mate". Everyone talks about how Liam is a diva and he is this and he is that but I truly believe that he DOES care and is quite bothered by what's going on... And I'm not saying that Noel has to do an acoustic as we all know that's not gonna happen, only in our dreams, but that he might take just a FEW of the tougher songs off of Liam's shoulders (Cryin' , Lyla, Morning Glory) I think it would be most interesting to hear a Noel version of Stop Cryin' (with the CROWD singing Noel's lines backing him up!!!! THAT WOULD BE MINDBLOWING) and also like hurricane said even Lyla... The upside would be it would give Liam more of a rest to sing his remaining songs PROPERLY, and also we would get to hear some unique Noel-sung versions of a few of the classics... Maybe only the die-hard Oasis fans would take to that however? As amazing as Noel is I don't think that he could pull Champagne off though,,, it may have to be dropped

Anyone hear the dutch radio acoustic set? Liam's voice was incredible...his voice isn't gone, he just has to stop pushing so hard when he sings, turn up his mic and have him relax his vocals cords a little bit more...

Lyla live has grown on me, the people at the concerts (the ones who actually paid, not us bootlegers) seem to LOVE it, so dropping it from the set is insane if you ask me.
As for new songs I think Liam will sing them just fine, whenever they're added to the set.

I wouldn't mind Champagne Supernova going to be honest. I don't think it's sounded good since 2000 (and it wasn't that good then), didn't miss it when they dropped it for the HC tour. It's not just Liam's voice either, Noel's guitar solo has really gone downhill. He used to go nuts on that, now it just sounds like random string bending half the time.
