Ok i understand people have concerns upon hearing liams antics during this tour so far, but this bashing of him has to stop, "Liam should be kicked out the band" are you fucking mad? The reason we love oasis is mainly because of liam, yes noels songs and attitude helped but they would've been knowhere as successful as they are now if liam had not been the main focal point. Lets be honest as much as i love Noel he is becoming a boring old man (Wellers influence is looming big) and everyone saying Noel should quit, Noel should go solo and so on are totally missing the point, Liam started the band, Liam is the driving force behind this album(Noel said so himself) so if i want to see anyone its liam. Lets be honest if was just Noel, Gem, Andy and zak do you think they would sell out the places they have this tour? No because that would be extremely boring, it would be like going to see the fucking hollies. Don't get me wrong there all top lads in interviews and do have there own place on the stage but it just wouldn't be the same without Liam, He owns that stage. How many times does the chant "Liam, Liam" ring around the stadium during a gig? and how many times does "Andy, Andy" or whoever?. Now im not having a dig at anyone but we don't know the reasons for him leaving the stage so we shouldn't judge him! If he did it just cos he wanted to then yes he's bang out of order but to be honest listening to him in interviews and on dvds etc... he seems the most focused upon an album this time as any other, So to say he's lost interest now is complete bollocks to me, I honestly feel he's been trying his hardest up on that stage(To hard in my opinion) and if he ain't getting the right performance from his sound guys then id be pissed aswell, Then again if its his voice going then i don't want him to harm it anymore (If that means missing a song or 2 then so be it) Why would anyone stay out there singing when they physically can't do it and risk permenent long term damage? I think we are all jumping the gun here, lets chillout see what happens in the next few weeks and if there is a serious problem then we'll talk, But lets not judge and start wishing things to happen to a band that made us love them because of 2 major factors! NOEL and Liam (They are Oasis together)
Cheers

i don't too many people in the forum would want Liam out of the band, not from my experience anyway.
i think most people just wish Liam would get his act together - you say he may have had a legimate reason for leaving the stage that we don't know about - it's possible, he could have been having a brain haemmoraghe, or whatever, but i doubt it.
Bad sound engineering is NOT a good reason for f*cking off... and i thinks its just silly to suggest he left to protect his voice!! Come on, even the most die-hard Liam fan would have difficulty swallowing that one
He left cos he was pissed off ....and that, my friends, is not rock and roll

From the poor quality camera phone video that I seen of Liam leaving the gig, it seemed like he apologised before leaving, which would hint that it wasn't that he was pissed off, it was just that he didn't feel he could go on.
Whether he thought his voice was going to go or whatever, I don't know, but I wouldn't bet against it. Have you ever tried the crouched down, head up singing style? It fucking hurts.
